If the standard of football is the driving choice in supporting your team, then those fans won’t be missed anyway. They can go and follow Arsenal, City etc
Ive been going since 1970 seen the good bad and very ugly in 56 years spent thousands with that club gone to European friendlies etc as you say i wont be missed and i wont be glory hunting elsewhere whats being dished up not only by Everton but the league as a whole is sub standard , Var, referees etc are killing the game in my opinion ,if you're happy with what you have been served over the past 20 odd years and are willing to pay your hard earned cash go for it and enjoy .

I'm undecided. I haven't missed many home games since we signed Peter Beardsley, but it's not the same anymore. The 2 games I've enjoyed the most at the new stadium is the Roma and Sunderland games because I had my 4 year old lad with me, he loves it but he's not ready to go every week. I always expected TFG to rinse us but since we left GP it's been relentless. I suspect I will renew and regret it tbh.

I’ve said this before - I’m trapped!

If it was my decision, I’d sack my season ticket off. It’s not solely down to BMD, but after 30+ years of having a season ticket, I’ve fallen out of love with top level football. I didn’t miss going the match when COVID hit, and the European Super league nonsense was another nail in the coffin. I’m missing upcoming games because of switches to Monday and Wednesday nights.

But, the kids have season tickets and still love going the game. I always wanted a season ticket when I was their age and I have been fortunate to get them ones. I enjoy it more for them and their experiences rather than the product on offer thesedays.

So I’ll end up being stuck with season tickets until they’re old enough to go and pay themselves, then I’ll make a decision.

I reckon there will be a lot not renewing and looking to pick up games on resale.
Ive paid £70 a pop on resale so i think not so many will take that option.
Im over 65 but there are no consessions on the resale site. I had to let my season ticket go a few years ago and i am currently on the waiting list.
Much as i realise that we had to move and some of the alternatives would have been a lot worse i am not really enjoying the match day experience but i think its a mixture of being homesick for Goodison and being set in my ways

Sky, TNT etc TV money is also affecting people's decisions about season tickets. Our next 4 home PL fixtures; 8:00pm Monday (Leeds), 7:30pm Tuesday (Bournemouth), 8:00pm Monday (Man Utd), 8:00pm Wednesday (Burnley). None of these teams have European football, so why aren't we playing them at 3:00pm on a Saturday?

These 4 games alone are a fifth (21%) of our home PL fixtures, with others already played midweek and/or at various times on a Sunday for TV (and other reasons). We must be playing these games at these times for TV? People are at work and are too tired/can't be bothered/are on the wrong shift to go. Many thousands of fans don't live in or near Liverpool and spend hours travelling (to and from). Current transport difficulties/lack of parking facilities mean a lot who live local are experiencing delays they never have in the last 5-50 years or however long they've been going to Goodison.

We've played 3 home games at 3:00pm on a Saturday - Villa, Fulham and Forest.

Most of our home games are on TV, one channel or another. That's where the main match revenue comes from. I don't have any subscription for football on TV and I've never had a season ticket. It's not so long ago I used to buy home tickets online through the account registered I (still) have with Everton to do this (no membership) and I could easily buy an away ticket for most fixtures (if I wanted to go) simply by emailing the club or calling when they became available for sale. If the demand for ST drops for whatever reason this is where TFG might take home and away ticket sales back to and then, of course, 'Dynamic Pricing' (authorised touting) is now also 'a thing' for top level football - there are many whose egos are happy and maybe prefer to be able to say they paid £100/150/200... for a ticket for 'the game'.

If/when we start to have more success on the pitch instead of just being PL plodders (which is what we are) TFG will want/need fewer ST holders. There will be no need or demand for ST, OAP or whatever concessions as the hipster tourists will flock in their thousands, trains or no trains, buses or no buses, parking or no parking. The difficulty getting there and possibly having to pay a Dynamic price will be worth the telling over a bubble tea after the next Tai Chi session.

The TV thing is my biggest gripe, but I also understand this is a huge chunk of revenue for clubs.

Having so many evening games really does not help when taking kids to the game.

We have a good routine getting to/from games, but me, my mate, along with my 8 year old and his 7 year old doesn't make the night games easy.

We will be renewing our tickets and hoping that my youngest (waiting list 1001-1500) will be eligible next year. They are both footy/Everton mad and I have always wanted to take them the games like my dad used to with me and my sister.

We still enjoy it, albeit the football recently along with dry January hasn't helped.

Cutting it short though and going to have a drink at the Leeds game. I think it's needed.

I travel from out of town which was never a problem at Goodison as I had a pre match routine, This season though I think we’ve only had three 3pm Sat kick off times. I just cant make the midweek and not gonna lie, it becomes a grind. You start questioning if it’s worth the travel and if I could maybe pick up resale for 3-4 matches a season I would look forward to these games and make a day / night of it, plus I could see other parts of the ground which I haven’t been able to do yet. Undecided, but likely won’t renew.

I’ve fallen out of love with top level football.
I reckon this is true for most fans. Not only has it become a joke now with the poor refereeing quality, the favourite teams that get away with everything (especially financially), and it feels like this season there’s been a match on every night. It’s just boring now. And then we’re being flogged for as much money as possible.

Did he give a reason you'd be willing to share?
Yeah, it’s the difficulty of getting to the stadium and getting home as he can’t walk far. Plus the amount of time it now takes. He’s currently getting a bus put on by a pub that’s local to him, but it gets there two hours before kick off so it can park up before all the road closures

He says that maybe we had it too easy at Goodison, with him being able to set off in the car one hour prior to kick off, parking a 5/10 minute walk away and then getting home 30 minutes after the final whistle

I’ll be renewing , partly out of habit and routine . Like many I am not finding the same enjoyment . I hate that it has become a whole day out. The whole travel to and from the stadium is such a chore . Drains you .

It amazes me how we’ve been told this stadium is the most accessible in the country . Yet see many people with disabilities / elderly supporters struggling along that Regents Road .

Apparently 700 people qualified , with a blue badge to go into a ballot for parking by the stadium . They only have 100 odd spaces to issue.

Did nobody think of how these people would cope . It desperately needs sorting out . So many will be forced to stop over a physical issue.

Be interesting how they handle seat moves. Are you meant to wait till renewal period has ended to see what seats are available or just have to pick from what is already available

In the past when ive moved seat (albeit 10 years ago) ive renewed, and then emailed the club asking to move, and to what area i wanted. I moved from GT7 to GT4

I genuinely think they don’t care mate

I will likely be renewing but under sufferance.

I’ve lived in London for the last 30 odd years so the travel aspect has always been a factor but the ridiculous number of Monday/Midweek games is making it a nightmare this season. I am recently retired so I have more flexibility but many posters who mention kids attending(our future generation of fans) really hits home on how difficult it is for everyone even those based in Liverpool.

I just wish we had a Board leadership with some backbone, that would play merry hell with these fixture changes and defend it’s own supporter base but don’t seem to be interested.

Then again, Everton were key protagonists in the formation of the Premier League so we must accept some culpability for what has transpired.

I still detest what football has become.
