Some interesting posts in this thread regarding renewal - I've added a poll.

As for Village Street - I'm sure when I looked, it was very clear they dictate a minimum term, with expected/in line with retail index or whatever %x increase per season.

I recall thinking it was like 3k+ and when averaged per game, I'd never spend that so I'd rather eat/drink in town.

To renew my ST or not ? The 2 main problems for me are getting away after the game and the constant changes to ko times , both of which are outside the club's control.
Yep, this is how I feel.

Not arsed about the actual standard of football etc, that's not a factor in whether I would renew in any given year and it wouldn't say much about me as a supporter if that's how I felt.

The journey to the match is a ballache and I only live in Mossley Hill. It's either drive to Hunts Cross or South Parkway and train there and back, or it's a train into Lime Street then a walk to Central and then a train to Sandhills and then do it in reverse, or it's using the buses near the ground which are a farce, or a good half hour or more walk into town and then travel home from there.

It feels a bit like an away day every time I go to the game and that gets tedious after a while.

Then there's the issue of the fact that we've barely played any Saturday games and the added travel time to/from the match becomes and even bigger pain in the proverbial as a result.

I've genuinely been giving thought to just packing it in and going to the odd game on the resale etc. It isn't the club's fault that we've had so many Sunday and (in particular) weeknight games, but that in conjunction with the travel time has had me thinking about my options - the two things which pull me the other way are that I have a 2nd ST which my boys share and I think they'd be gutted if we swerved it and in the unlikely event we ever got to Wembley etc in the future, I'd be writing off the prospect of seeing us win a trophy etc pretty much.

Suspect the club would receive less allocation than they have season tickets for any cup final, you'd need a few cup games included too I'd have thought.

In time the novelty of the new stadium will wear off. The football we've witnessed post covid has been some of the worst in my lifetime, most of us only kept going to get into the new ground, now that's happened, it's kinda ticked off the list. I think over the next few years the demand will drop off and like someone has said, it'll be easier going to the game when you can get a ticket for it and enjoy it rather than it feel like a routine. For example, Bournemouth coming up on a Tuesday night, in a few years you'd probably get >45k.
Most of us?

Not having a go at you or anything but moving to a new ground had nothing to do with me wanting to renew.

I'm just loyal.😇

I have had a season ticket over 20 years with the odd one before that as a kid.

Been great for having a season ticket as my little girl got one this season but for me and her ma had to wait until the season ticket ballots for her.

That meant no lower south as my little girl wasn’t allowed and no seats were left, we considered the upper south but as we sat there for a test event and for a five year old the seats we would of wanted we would of wanted went, and then higher up would of been hell. We’re in the north lower family which is a great view and caters for kids well but it’s a pain when leaving as we walk past away fans to get to our transport. Take the fact now we’ve 8 pm kick offs on a Monday she’s starting to miss matches as I am not taken a five year old to a night time kick offs on a Monday. I get that’s not all the clubs fault but until the transport issue is sorted and price of food is lowered Everton could really do themselves over

I don`t think the problem is where people are sitting in the stadium, it`s what they are being forced to watch while sitting in the stadium.

Disagree.

All I hear is moaning, be it in the pub, at work, in passing about how unhappy they are with their spot.

If the offering terrible? All day. But when everything else is ruining your enjoyment then it only compounds the negativity.
