I've had a season ticket for 23 years now and honestly can't see myself keeping one for much longer.

The stadium is impressive in it's build, but that's where it ends. The whole match day experience has changed and not for the better.

Its a nightmare getting to the stadium
It's now a whole day event
Ground is too sanitised
Devoid of any atmosphere
Corporate feel
Bank loan required for food and drink

I'm the same. Can't take to the stadium, the travel homes a nightmare, kick off times are making it an effort and watching a crap team doesn't help. The whinging over nasty footy songs, swear stickers on seats, VAR. I'll always love Everton but I think I've fell out of love with the game.
Fans about a dozen seats around me FOUR are not renewing ST next season.

In time the novelty of the new stadium will wear off. The football we've witnessed post covid has been some of the worst in my lifetime, most of us only kept going to get into the new ground, now that's happened, it's kinda ticked off the list. I think over the next few years the demand will drop off and like someone has said, it'll be easier going to the game when you can get a ticket for it and enjoy it rather than it feel like a routine. For example, Bournemouth coming up on a Tuesday night, in a few years you'd probably get >45k.

I'll be renewing but begrudgingly.
I like the new place but wouldn't argue with any of the points made here.
Coming from Bristol I can hardly get to any games now that they're all being shifted around, even the changes for weekend fixtures are a PITA.
Probably only able to make 3 or 4 more this season, its barely worth it.
Possibly my last renewal.

I don’t think drink prices are too bad to be honest. £5.95 for a pint nowadays is reasonable, certainly at a venue. Coffee was like £2.90 which was again reasonable. I don’t buy food there anymore after the first game.

The rest I agree with. Even though I do love the stadium. Atmosphere needs to be generated by decent football. When the fans are excited (2nd half of palace) it’s incredible.

Atmosphere will come.

The club cocked up by not trying to "replicate" stand by stand.

South Upper (Upper Gwladys)
South Lower (Lower Gwladys)
West (Bullens Road)
East (Top Balc, Main stand)
North (Park End)

All you've got is people moaning for a variety of reasons which those in the former guise are used to.

There will be thousands of seat changes this year.

Ive not warmed to it yet, I dont enjoy going... but I know it will improve as people find their spot for the next 30 years.

I don`t think the problem is where people are sitting in the stadium, it`s what they are being forced to watch while sitting in the stadium.
