I don’t spend much time on the club website, but does anyone know if they’ve said anything about this run of midweek night games? Apologised to the fans? Or even just acknowledged it?

You cant knock a gift horse in the mouth. I think the club earn like £128m a season off TV Money and £900k each TV appearance.

We are customers, and as such we have had 6 games moved to MNF, to which the club have pocketed at least £5.4m.

Ultimately, the fans aren't worth as much as TV Revenue, so every club is bent over a barrel ln that respect.

I would rather they didnt lie, and give a faux apology, because ultimately, theyre nor upset at extra revenue.

Part of the reason im falling out of love with us.

So let me get this straight then, just so I am clear in my simple mind.

Clear steps and help needed:

I sell my 3 season tickets back to the club (do I get any money in return for these or only if they sell them on??).
Hopefully recoup my approx GBP 78 per game I have paid for the 3 of them (fingers crossed). Or do I get full sell on value for these?
Then I buy 4 tickets in a completely different area for almost double the price?

Is this correct?

Correct. 1 or more seats on the resale platform might not sell though. So effectively you could be in it for the full price on top.

You only get the value of that ST ÷ 19 back if they do sell.

Having three tickets together probably increases your chances of them going, but that said if there are loads of pairs and more around to enable you to move to a 4, that might not be so much of a pull. Also (and I don't know if this is true or not) could someone just buy the middle seat and thus make the other two less desirable?

Could you not try and check if there are any seats in and around the row your on and then send the eldest/most responsible to sit on their own? You might also find people next to you may be happy to move to the other seat, especially if they are own their own and the other seat is close. I know I would move to allow a family to sit together, if asked nicely for the odd game.

that must be pricey if the resale doesn't sell.

Are you saying to have more chance of moving you need to have a medical reason?

I know someone who has a ST in the North upper but is currently in the South lower as they've had an operation that limits mobility. I'm sure if he asked he could get it transferred permanently. So having accessibility/medical issues and talking to the club definitely boosts the chances.

I would guess everyone will get a chance to move but options will be limited, especially if the club works off of tenure again.

I agree that as a ST holder you should attempt to get to as many as possible, and not miss games because you can’t be arsed. But there are people who don’t go when it’s freezing cold for health reasons. As long as you can re-list your ticket and not get punished that’s fine.
I've missed 3-4 home games in nearly 40 years. By next Monday night I'll have missed 3 this season already due to fixture changes that I've already moved work schedules for which invariably means flights for me due to the nature of my job. The powers that control scheduling have zero interest in the people who turn up to games, they only have the £'s that TV brings at heart.
i'm sure theres many others who are the same.

I wrote a mail to the club voicing my annoyance at all the changed dates for matches - particularly the evening kick offs -

The reply

“I appriciate the frustration, unfortunately, we are unable to control the kick-off times or which games the TV companies select.

If you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Box Office on 0151 556 1878, or you can raise another query with us by emailing servicedesk@evertonfc.com

Hahahaha brilliant aren’t they.
What on earth are the box office going to do?
They can’t even do their own job properly

I think if things stay as they are and the board dont show some ambition the gates next season will dwindle then the following season there will be a massive drop in renewals.

The mindset if the club needs changing because on a match day at the moment I am not looking forward to what is going to happen and that is when the time is up for you and football, I am close to this now

I need some feedback from anyone in club view Por Favor.

Currently we sit in the lower west. We were thinking of moving to club view, if it’s available that is.
We pay £880 now, is it worth the upgrade. I work away so I give my ticket to a mate half the time.
Also, can I still give him my club view tickets if I manage to upgrade?
He is a member so it’s easy to just give him my lower west ticket.
Also what about the sun, right now we are out of it for all games.
Any help would be appreciated

The view in club view is great. You can still transfer club view tickets to anyone who has a membership. You CANNOT though list them on the resale site if you want to. Queue’s for food etc have largely been sorted out. Sun was a minor issue issue early on in the season but no problem with a baseball cap. Getting out after the game is quicker from East stand than West stand. It’s an extra flight of stairs though compared with tier 2. If it’s a cup game with away fans then there is only one lift for the whole concourse if you have a mobility issue. In terms of value it all depends how you look at it. You get a free programme and £10 credit per game. If you would normally spend that at the ground anyway then the cost works out as £1200-(£14x19)=£934. As the season tickets either side of club view go for £900 it’s certainly worth that but it all depends in what ‘value’ you attach to the credit. You also usually get a quick talk from a couple of ex players before the match. I didn’t used to get food at Goodison but I do tend to now as I have to get there earlier with public transport compared to parking and walking. I think there will be availability in club view as there’s a lot of people with mobility issues who expected a new stadium to have escalators in the highest concourse in the ground especially as the FAQ’s made mention of “plenty of escalators in the new stadium” but neglected to mention that they were all in corporate apart from the pair in South stand.

Thank you mate, appreciate the feedback.
I think we will go for it.

Seen loads of talk about the club allowing ST holders to move next season. Anyone confirm this because I can't see anything official. Not sure how they'd do it either tbh. People who want to move just renew and choose a seat which isn't a ST seat? Or the seats of the ones who want to move will show as available and fans do it in a particular order like the first season tickets were released? All a bit of a mess.

Last I spoke to the club, as I definitely want to move, there is no plan in place for this currently but previously at Goodison you would renew as is, and then move seats once everyone else had renewed apparently. So it's by no means guaranteed you could move

Yes mate, there will be a window for us to move. Need to purchase ST first, then be able to move. Renewal date will be end of March, so Id hazard a guess the window to move will be from mid May maybe.

Understand that mate but say I want to move, will my original ST seat show as available for other ST holders who want to move? If not those that want to move are going to be moving to seats that 40 odd thousand didn't want. Its going to be a nightmare to sort.
