I think that’s the biggest realization I’ve come to over the past couple days. Too many people were just upset with the way things have been, and chose to vote for something different. Never mind the fact that they didn’t bother to do a little research into how devastating Trump’s economic proposals will be for them. Again, Elon Musk openly stated a week or two ago his plan is to make things worse for common Americans.

It's angry people voting out of anger than because of any other reason.

It's the exact same with Trudeau here.

Not sure I did actually, I definitely did report someone saying they hoped my children died mate so I could feel the pain the Ukrainians feel.

I think what got them on this one Dave was that a lot of the individual states held referendums on the right to abortion.

Nearly every state that voted on it certified the right to abortion with votes passing around 57-59%. These were the votes in states the elected Trump. The only one that didn't pass was Florida because it needed a 60% supermajority and even there got 57%.

They separated the abortion issue from the presidential vote and you saw lots of people vote for Trump who would have also voted to enshrine the right to abortion in their state.

The abortion issue is a big deal, but Harris failed to diversify her appeal beyond that and the threat to civil liberties in general...which the electorate didn't buy.

Harris's priorities were out of whack with most working people and she was demolished because of it. Too much time spent listening to donors and not enough time addressing bread and butter issues. Plus the fact she was a charisma bypass of a candidate who failed to attract people to her.

They pushed the narrative so hard, and tried to say that Jan 6th was "worse than 9/11", after spending a literal whole year defending much worse and much more violent attacks by activists all around the country, including firebombing St Johns church near the white house as being "mostly peaceful".

They called Trump a literal "Nazi", which he literally isn't, but it sounds better in a soundbite than "meanie". And thats since 2015. And all the way through to as recently as this week, when Obama chimed in again with the completely untrue "Nazis are fine people" hoax, that im pretty sure most people who dont like him still believe.

Thats Obama, Clinton, Harris, and Biden who have all used it in this election cycle, knowing its a lie, to push a false narrative, and the supposed impartial msm news channels (again, plural) fail time and time again to fact check.

Saying he was holding a Nazi Rally in MSG, when its been used by JFK, Jimmy Carter and i think Clinton as well if memory serves me. But no, this 1 is different. How dare he hold a rally in his home town.

Its dishonest, its corrupt, and people are tired of it.
