Again, less than 24 hours for Harris. Totally normal.

It's 48 months and counting for the loser of the last election.

He’s already been granted full immunity by the courts, so he’s free to do as he pleases. I sincerely hope he doesn’t make good on his threats to use the military to stamp out dissent, but I’m not counting on it. He’s one of the most vindictive people to ever walk the planet.

He’s got both chambers of Congress for at least two years before there’s even the tiniest glimmer of hope. The Democrats are a mess, but if people are actually voting just with their wallets and think they’re hurting now, they’re REALLY going to be hurting once his tariffs kick in and the cost of everything doubles overnight. They’ll be pining for the days of 5% inflation. So maybe there’s some ground to be gained in the 2026 midterms. RFKjr is an idiot, but even once be bans vaccines, four years hopefully won’t be enough time to fully undo a century of public health. I honestly don’t know. Maybe Trump fully running the ship aground will break the fever. Or maybe it won’t.

Sides aren’t far enough apart. The right moves right and the Dems hopelessly follow. Go the other way.

D Cheney was seen as the devil when i was young. Getting the endorsement and his POS daughter , who did that bring over to the Dems, i know it would have lost me

I didn't see any of the footage of Liz Cheney with KH during the campaign, so I'm only talking in broad strokes here: Dick Cheney and Liz can be seen as war mongers, evil, etc. etc. And I find them reprehensible. But it seems pretty clear that their personal strategy--for whatever reasons--was that they didn't like Trump. This isn't incompatible with being a war monger. To me it seems like basic political strategy--when an election appears to be on razor thin margins, trying to get some of the old-school, "never-Trumpers" GOP voters via an (absolutely weird) endorsement from Cheney is a good strategy.

I find all this talk about Cheney to be "politics as usual" played by both sides, but as always the Trump-crazies cannot let any GOP member who defies Trump go unpunished in the court of social media. It is strange how many people jumped on this issue as if this was some giant breach of political contract. But by contrast just consider all the Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok videos that have been reposted by conservatives along the lines of "I used to be a liberal but now I am a conservative." This would include Trump, as well as former democrats such as Rob Blagojevich.
