Cheers mate, way better actually, Whataboutism is just a throw away phrase far too overused to have much real meaning anymore (same as a good few words have become), it just kills any discussion stone dead.

Don’t see it that way. For Americans this election was all about internal affairs. The economy, inflation, jobs.

In fact Trump would quite happily have Gaza and the Palestinians wiped off the map along with Iran.

He would, but that wasn't my point.

Biden could have done something about Netanyahu / the direction of travel of Israeli politics at any point up mid-2023 that might have made October 7th not happen. He could have put firm guardrails on what the US would and would not support after October 7th. He didnt do either and it ended up losing Harris part of her base and was probably one of the factors that got young people to not vote for Harris as well.

Trump and Kushner have already identified Gaza's potential as a beachfront development. I'm sure the $$$ in the Gaza Marine field has not escaped his attention too.
