I was in a doctors waiting room yesterday just outside Boston.
There were parents prob in their 60's and a daughter in her 30's.
They'd all watched the GOP debate and all seemed impressed by Haley.
Then the daughter mentioned her stance on abortion and they all agreed they could never vote for someone with that point of view.

I guess they were independents and will be voting on abortion rights.

I kept an ear out for Haley in the news yesterday and the first thing I heard was that she thinks DeSantis's 'Dont say gay' bill doesn't go far enough.
These people... ugh.

These people can’t get out of their own way

If they moderated some of theirs views the GOP could easily win the presidency next year. But Trumpism and far right cultural war issues are a helluva drug

No need for a 'death knell' mate, it should be enough that he's a poor, poor candidate for the office, not fit for a 2nd term...and barely fit for the first.

She's probably tacking right for the primary, then will flip-flop as best she can get away with for the general. She can't win the presidency without winning the primary.

Same as here, a race to the bottom, serve the paymaster wealthiest and screw over everyone else. The game doesn't change, the audience just get older and die off so it begins again.
