That’s because they don’t actually care about any of these thjngs

They only care about seemingly ownjng the Libs

That’s it

That’s quite literally the only thing most of them care about
Might seem that way but I don’t think it’s true. I still think the majority are in the America first camp and mostly just want to see that they’ll be a priority vs what they’ve seen in the last few years. If it was anyone but trump running, I think the election could’ve been a walk for the republicans. The fact that it is trump means Harrris is going to get at least some support she otherwise wouldn’t have. Makes it a real game.

How have they "not been a priority" because of "what we've seen in the last few years?" Because from my vantage point Republicans don't do anything for their people, at all. Except do culture warrior stuff. But despite that reality, the narrative over and over and over again is the Republicans will do things for the people.

It's nauseating.

Inflation was a worldwide phenomenon post-COVID, yet Republicans paint it as as Democrat spending issue b/c the rubes lap it up. Doesn't make it true. There's also price gouging going on. Or if you're a believer in the market economy, companies are charging what people will pay.

It's not like earnings are down in the consumer space, quarter after quarter.

My company absolutely prints money post-COVID, for example. Because we can

Well, based on a report this year from the house budget committee, we’re spending over $150 billion on benefits for illegals immigrants and recoup less than 20% of that back in taxes. When you see that and then the billions going overseas while our homelessness problem, including our veterans gets worse and sets new records, I think it’s more than fair to ask the question. When I see cities cleaned up for a week and then back to what they were before simply because of an event or a foreign leader visiting, I think it’s fair to ask the question.

Inflation is the easy term because it’s bad, but no, I don’t blame the current administration for all of that. I do think they’ve let other issues become worse and have not prioritized correctly…in some cases because they’re afraid to offend people.

You're preaching to the choir, bub...

Unfortunately, it's not us you've got to convince. 🙄

Christopher Bouzy basically nailed the 2020 Election and the 2022 midterms. This is his current view based on early voter data in Pennsylvania. He also thinks there is a chance Florida will flip. Let’s see but he’s been pretty spot on in the past. Hope he’s correct.

The problem is that the house committee is republican and doing their best to demonize undocumented immigrants with this kind of stuff.
It's not a zero sum game. It's not the cost of benefits versus the taxes recouped.
It's also the cost to the economy. If the republicans have their way/trumps way and there are mass deportations, the country would grind to a halt. Politics are being played with peoples lives, possibly on both sides but there was a solution reached that Trump gummed up on purpose.
I also dont see how Republicans have swung so hard against NATO. Someone should remind them that the US is the only country to invoke article 5 after 9/11 and every member state stepped up without complaint.
Now Trump blathers on about cost of membership and says Russia can do what ever the hell they want and the party fall in lock step behind him.
They also rage against spending on Ukraine but 100% support spending on Israel.
It's bullcrap. There are no reasonable arguments to vote republican.

Yeah but Harris laughs a lot and is a WOMAN, so I'm still undecided.

There are 14 democrats on the committee as well…If you want to point out what’s incorrect about their report then that’s great, but people continuing to say it’s just pure good vs evil while pretending there’s no fault on anything one party does isn’t effective.

Trump 100% gazumped the bipartisan proposal and that’s horrible. Biden also dragged his feet on doing something for far too long, even when liberal cities were saying they didn’t have enough resources. He wanted to have that win in an election year rather than acknowledge and do something before. That proposal also wouldn’t have been a fix but would have helped. They’re all playing games.

they're all playing games but one side is accusing immigrants of eating pets. One side is spreading such vile crap about immigrants that the national guard had to be called in to provide extra security in elementary schools. One side, when in power, dealt with this by separating parents from kids, putting them in cages and then permanently misplacing records so families would be split forever.
One side swindled voters in to fraudulently paying for a wall that was never built. One side based their whole election and re election campaign on fear and demeaning people.
There is no two sides here.
As long as they vote for Trumps GOP, they are vile.
I've really had it. They are thick and vile.
