There was never a pendulum swinging to Trump. Not since 2016.
What we are seeing now in the polls is proof of relative indifference to Biden - it wasn't people swinging to Trump.
Now that he's been replaced with someone who can string sentences together, there's a real alternative to Trump other than just the simple notion of being an alternative to Trump. It's actually now something to vote for
He doesn't care that the GOP would wipe Gaza off the map if they could.
All he cares about is these bizarre soundbites about how Genocide Joe is bad. Or Crazy Kamala.
Or something.
His infatuation with the Democratic response is wholly illogical

That's fair, and you are certainly entitled to that opinion. Lots of skeletons in the closet here. Too numerous to mention.
So why post about it in a POTUS thread? Since whoever the POTUS is is going to have American views of the world. Which has always been pro-Israel - across party lines. Forever.

What I've seen with my own eyes post-Biden stepping down is nothing short of amazing.
As well as talking with everyone I know about the lack of Trump enthusiasm that is everywhere. Midwest, South, Appalachia, rural, urban.

It's going better than expected but Trump is still in a better place than he was in 2016 and 2020 (at this point in the race).
A lot of work to be done
As a Centrist/moderate I am ethically bound not to take positions on such matters as which direction the economic winds are blowing, but as I dropped off my son's car for maintenance at the shop this morning they guy at the window was telling me he gets call all the time to check out prices on service and parts because of Biden. I get that economic pressures squeeze everyone but it befuddles me why so many on the right want a better economic position for themselves but don't want any help from the government; the entire point of government services and subsidy (ie, "socialism") is to help soften the blows from the ups and downs of the economy. How people at the same time want a truly "free market*" and complain that the free market squeezes their pocket is simply beyond my understanding.
*I am avowedly not libertarian because a truly free market scares the bejeezus out of me
if the president can influence the price of gas you know he's got both Goldman and Sachs on speed dial
agree but also politics is weird; you can't really predict what sticks and what doesn't
