Apropos of nothing I'm slightly amazed that TV outside the US have not rolled out a medical dementia expert...or whatever the tech term is...to review and comment on the many tapes of Biden.

If he does make it to the Convention - it will be to stand down/pass on the baton to Harris...and walk away to a face saving standing ovation

To be fair I watched Morning Joe the day after the debate and it was far from rah rah. There was acknowledgment his performance was terrible and concerning, but they also didn’t lose sight of Trumps nonsensical blathering as well, which the media simply refuses to talk about. Because his nonsense is expected

From what im reading on social media possible candidates includes Buttigieg who is gay and because majority of America is still homophobic he wouldn't stand a chance,
Harris who is apparently disliked by everyone and again wouldn't stand a chance,

This is why moving on from Biden now would be a risk

Many people have already done this and the general idea is that Biden is old and so is Trump, but Trump has a pathological commitment to lying, so much so that people just accept that he says absurd things 100% of the time. Trump more that Biden seems to show a condition that is something more that just an again brain and forgetfulness.

What a place US democracy is in: elections decided on which candidate is the least likely to be suffering from dementia.
