Mélenchon has been crawling up the polls over the last couple of weeks, but unfortunately, so has Le Pen. Pretty much every poll giving JLM a 1-2% boost is also giving Le Pen the same thing, so the gap between them is not narrowing.

Elabe's newest poll had her up to 22%, her highest number since before Zemmour confirmed his candidacy. It looks like it will take a miracle for JLM to overtake her. Still, there is time to narrow the gap with inflation on the rise and consumer confidence in decline.

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to vote, not even in local commune elections.
Although I have lived here for 16 years I still have a UK passport.
I do have a titre de séjour but that doesn't entitle me to vote, one has to be a French national.
I expect that there will be a lot of abstention in this election.
