I find videos that start “See, we progressives told you so” not very persuasive that the core concern of the presenter is the wide-scale problem of sexual abuse in general or empathy at the experience Tara Reed herself as an individual.

It certainly doesn’t engender confidence that they have made a dispassionate review of the evidence.

I repeat my comment the other day - sexual abuse accusations and how they are treated should NOT be a partisan matter.

Trump is too dangerous at the moment, I definitely don't agree with hard left bunch of progressives going with 'neither of them' approach. Biden it is, he will be too old anyway when 2024 arrives.

I reckon he is talking about possibility of blanket suspension for the generals, not just NY.
he'll definitely try that and maybe he can go 'look at NY, they cancelled their dem primary' but I don't see it getting much traction and I certainly don't think Sanders withdrawing from the race and then complaining about his name being withdrawn from the race will have much of a bearing.
It's mainly going to make disenfranchised Sanders supporters feel even more disenfranchised, and all for a bit of delicate power. Very irresponsible in my book.

It’s not a ‘I told you so’ it’s just acknowledging that they’ve been warning about it. I don’t think it’s fare to question his empathy from that.

Who is looking like the front runner to be Biden's VP? Personally think he should pick someone non white and go for an inter-racial ticket.
not sure.
Due to his legacy he doesn't need to boost African American votes with a VP pick.
Tammy Duckworth ticks a lot of boxes. Midwest military hero, left of Biden but not super left.
It will be very hard for the GoP hyper patriots to smear that ticket.
Though I saw what they did to McCain so who knows.

It doesn’t matter if he warned about it, him being right isn’t the important thing - or shouldn’t be.

And since “we were right” is the first thing he mentions I think it absolutely fair to say empathy to Tara Reed may not be at the top of his thoughts.

It is a “told you so” - he says exactly those words! And since “I was right” is the first thing he mentions I think it absolutely fair to say empathy to Tara Reed may not be at the top of his thoughts.

Well he’s talked about it multiple timesin the past and has shown empathy. I have not seen him say ‘told you so’ in the video I must check it again what part is that? Cause that sounds immature and insensitive I’ll agree. But taking the point that he is a boastful progressive is last thing we should be taking away from that video anyway.

yea, I'm inclined to agree, this VP pick will be huge.
Think he genuinely believes (with some good reason) that he's the best chance of kicking Trump out of office.

Feel like for this reason the VP pick needs to someone who's a heavyweight, with a profile.

As impressive a resumé as Duckworth has, I'm not sure she fits the bill

I have no doubt in my mind this Tara Reid thing would be worth 5 pages in the trump thread if it was bout him. And while I commend Birk blue and LL for addressing it and being balanced as they can be a lot of the usual crowd just ignoring it until a comment in response saying ‘it works both ways for accusations’or a comment saying ‘best to vote for the more competent sex pest’ gets the likes from them. Otherwise they are swerving.

Very eerie.

If he needs a heavyweight then surely Warren is his best bet? She'll convince a good amount of Bernie's supporters to vote for them, whereas in they didn't come out for Hilary in 2016 and cost her dearly.

You are correct he didn’t those exact words they were “Look, progressives warned democrats about this” which I do think is a “told you so” and is most definitely is partisan - which is my main message that this shouldn’t be!

Making it partisan vastly increases the chances the it is seen as a political hit job and Tara Reed‘s account is not considered fairly which I think it should be.
