mate what are you on? none of the sanders supporters here stated that they would prefer Trump rather than Biden. Most of us are not even Americans haha
the guy in the video you posted says Trump is doing a better job (re. foreign policy) than Biden would.
That said, of the American posters here who are registered to vote, there doesn't seem to be any ardent Sanders supporters. There are definitely progressives but no die hard Sanders supporters. That's the difference between '16 and now.

The issue here though is that it assumes the Democratic establishment wants to work with him, or other progressives / socialists.

There’s not a lot of evidence they do, or would, or even that they don’t consider them to be enemies (based on the way Sanders support is regularly stereotyped, belittled and slandered) to a greater degree than the GOP are.
Warren is a progressive working within the party, AOC is even a progressive working within the party.

They changed the rules for the next debate it’s going to be a short sit down and a few questions from audience. DNC were terrified of a 2 hour one on one debate.

One of whom got no support from the establishment (except as an anti-Bernie option) and the other ran against a personification of the establishment.

Or to put it another way, do you see them backing AOC next time around (given how old Biden will be probably making him a one term guy if he wins)?

No, but to be honest nor should they. As much as I LOVE Ocasio-Cortez, she’ll be 34 at the next election. There’s some steps in there before she makes a run at POTUS imho

Several of the Obama-Hillary debates were the exact same format.

If it’s any consolation to you, I’d the predictions for today are accurate, it’ll effectively be over by the next debate anyway.

Halsey (who?) endorses Bernie. She has got some 12 mil followers so I assume she is popular. Hopefully her young fans get interested a bit with the politics

Depends what you mean by 'establishment'.
Schumer, Pelosi, Perez, Obama?
I think they might have surprised you in their attitudes to a progressive candidate who was a member of their party.
Warren has been an important and influential Democratic senator for 8 years now. She is fairly senior in the party. I wouldnt be at all surprised to see her as majority/minority leader at some point.
AOC hasn't attacked the party as she can see that she needs to be with them rather than against them to better get her message across.
I get that people feel the DNC are giving Sanders a hard time but he's done absolutely nothing to meet them in the middle.
It's a gigantic missed opportunity.

From what I have been following.

It's a shame that the democrats have spent 4 years trying to pointlessly get rid of the president rather than offer a valid alternative to him to get behind.

More a shame they are actively back stabbing their candidates before they have been nominated to even have a chance of losing to trump and repeating the cycle.

how are they actively backstabbing one of their candidates??
This is all getting a bit mad...

mate you don't have to respond to every criticism towards establishment at the DNC, we see it differently from afar

Well candidates are dropping out the race just to switch support from themselves to Joe biden. All in a bid to make sure Bernie Sanders doesn't win the candidacy.

I'm not just pulling this out of thin air. I've been reading about it quite a bit and enjoy watching a guy who I highly recommend actually. His channel is anomoly , but spelled with random capital letters. Very intelligent and balanced individual.

Either way trying to draw support from one to another is just damaging the candidate who actually does win.

You're right, I don't have to.
I just cant wrap my head around how Sanders is being actively back stabbed by the DNC?
Feel free to enlighten me.
It's simple
If he wanted a large amount of party support, he should have joined the party.

Most Americans are sick of Trump and want him gone, they see Biden as the man who can do that, the progressive fight can be fought in congress or through his VP pick and the party can work together for the next GE.

and they are wrong, he is going to lose and is going to lose heavily. we will come back to these pages and say ''what if?..'' it is written in the stars already, a shame really, 8 years with Trump.
