when it comes to healthcare, he's not proposing what you have in Ireland.
He's proposing just the HSE with no VHI but every hospital will be private, like the Blackrock clinic.
I'm not sure how the system in Canada works but he bangs on about wanting a system like the ones in Europe but no country in Europe is running his model... because it's pie in the sky.
“Venezuela and North Korea” shouts are still inane though

An economically educated person looks at those countries and says “wages are $50 a month because they have a system which aims to provide free universal healthcare.”

I'm talking about the European countries you donk. We earn thousands a month as well as having access to free healthcare, free education, social security.

I'd hate to see you on an episode of Pointless, you'd just scream "Venezuela" repeatedly at Alexander Armstrong for "countries beginning with the letter A"

It would change a lot but he, unlike Warren, doesn't want to do away with the filibuster so he'd need 60 senators to pass his plan.
He'd also need to convince everyone with good insurance that his public plan with no private option, (NO PRIVATE OPTION AT ALL) will be better than their existing plans.
He's promising pie in the sky, he knows that with the filibuster it'll never be delivered so he's safe to push it and say 'I tried but the republicans shot it down'.
Would you vote for Bernie if he went with Warren's plan on healthcare? I don't think you like his other policies any much more mate.

Tbf, abolishing private healthcare is genuinely deranged, undoable and nonsense. Maybe he's hoping that if he aims for Mars, he'll at least hit the Moon

get feeling biden will pull off the upset tonight and surprise everyone winning the most... I hope I am wrong I will be sick if I ain't lol.(n) from crazy corrupt woman vs mentally unstable trump in 2016... 2 creepy/gaff machine biden vs him in 2020 meh.

nonsense.
I think he'd be great dealing with Bibi and Israel.
I think his stance on childcare is great
I agree with him on private prisons and capitol punishment
I love the green new deal and am impressed by his endorsement from the sunrise movement
I'm all for $15 minimum and taxing the super wealthy
Reinstating glass stiegel is a good idea
and on and on.
I like his politics,
I just think on the huge one, health care, he hasn't thought it through, Warren has, and not promising an unworkable plan cost her the nomination.

Warren did the exact same thing but she got absolutely slammed for having an unworkable plan, so she sat down and put a plan in place clearly outlining how she'd do it.
She was seen as weak.
Sanders just skates through without any real scrutiny.

what do you mean? so she offers a plan that would work and is realistic, but costs her the nomination? do you mean to say Democratic electorate is by and large delusional?

Mate, I hate to break it to you, but that reasonable stuff doesn't appear to wash with the general American public. Bash the pulpit and give no ground, dispose of the pilots who have already made the sacrifice

There's a healthy dose of sexism to boot. No way Warren would have taken the flack she gets if she was a man.
The left call her capitalist, the right socialist, they mock her policy making and rip her flaws to shreds.
Imagine if she called JFK nauseating, we'd never hear the end of it.

“It’s time for me to skedaddle, and make way for that Biden fella — God love him. He’s got the Joe-mentum now, and I’m yesterday’s newspaper, stained filthy with bird droppings and cat urine.”

The three-time presidential contender said he was moved by the selflessness of Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg, who each dropped out the race this week and plan to endorse Biden.

I don't want Biden. Old man yelling at cloud, long history in politics, so there will be a lot for opponents to cherry pick from.

I don't really want Sanders, either. Old man yelling at cloud, doesn't really have any serious way of actually getting any of his policies accomplished.

Warren's been my choice all along, with Klobuchar a second.

But make no mistake, I'll vote for whoever survives and is in there in November.

They are all miles better than what's currently on offer.
