yea, Mathews is a pillock and has since apologized.
I'm getting tired of all this 'democratically controlled media' nonsense. It just rings of moaning about MSM.
Ofcourse there's money in private media but Sanders is getting a fair shake.
He's actually flown under the radar when it has come to criticism.
Sanders hasn't gotten anywhere near the criticism Biden has taken.
He's getting plenty of front runner coverage on NPR, CNN and MSNBC.
Matthew's is the worst TV host there is. He is well known for having people on, asking them a question, then interrupting them immediately. Most people hate going on his show but because he has a primo slot they do.

It's no wonder MSNBC don't can him. Blinded by ratings. If there is a true left representation of a Fox news host on the left it's Matthews.

It seems to me some Sanders supporters are setting up the same talking point Trump did. Point at the media and blame them just in case it falls apart.

Sanders clearly will be the candidate and given his top opponents the Dems won't be able to shaft him again. So it's odd some of his base are continuously pointing fingers and setting up narratives.

MSNBC and the other Democratic controlled media need to admit defeat and get on the Bernie train before they start looking silly. They will surely lose their ratings if they don’t atleast cover Bernie in a fair objective way if he becomes the nominee to run against Trump.

A pivot is on the horizon I think.
With the exception of Matthews (who is a muppet, as has been mentioned here several times over the last few days) MSNBC’s main shows (All In, Maddow, Last Word) have been pretty complimentary.

Which (and I really don’t mean offence by this, it’s just a fact of today’s [social] media environment) you’d probably know with more exposure to it, rather than just carefully chosen snippets on twitter.

Some Bernie supporters really do come off a bit kopite-ish with the whole “everyone’s against us” schtick, when, as @Ruairi77 said, he’s actually probably taken less direct attacks than any of the other current top tier (if you want to still call them that) candidates.

Everyone of them moderates should not give in and stay in this race as long as possible. I think they are all great. Who is anybody to tell them to drop out.

You can tell these other candidates are getting desperate because they’ve got Sanders in their crosshairs right away
Nothing to do with desperation (though clearly Sanders is now the overwhelming favourite) - that’s simply what happens in debates.

Biden had it
Warren had it
Even Buttigieg had it

This isn’t a “ooooh everyone’s out to get Bernie” thing

But wait, they’re all DNC shills who are out to stymie Bernie’s chances. That’s....... why they’re all staying in and splitting the non Bernie vote....?

Not playing up to that everyone’s out to get him way of thinking, just that it seemed a bit different to the others

Bloomberg got pelters because, rightly or wrongly, the others don’t believe he should be there

And to be fair, after about 20 minutes or so, the attacks on Sanders stopped aside from Pete who just decided to shout over him. Warren may try and disavow Sanders but she needs his voters and she’s running on a similar stump so she’s going after Bloomberg because she can’t be seen to be heavy handed on Bernie

It was a mess at the end of the day

Them running are out for themselves. The DNC is pressuring them to pick one make no mistake
