I didn’t manage to catch the debate last night. Has Bloomberg got any limbs left?
he did better than his first one but not much and nowhere near enough to repair any damage.
I also think Steyer was the more relatable billionaire.
Biden had a good debate if you like old fellas just shouting and getting complimented by inept moderators.
Warren did nothing to move the needle for her.
Pete and Amys light might be fizzling out.
I've a feeling S.C will go

1. Biden
2. Sanders.
3. Steyer
4. Warren
5. Pete

The debate last night was a mess but they did hit on some points.
They pointed out that none of the universal healthcare systems Sanders goes on about have banned private health insurance.
And Warren touched on how Sanders opposes getting rid of the filibuster.
He seems alright that he'd need 60 senate votes to pass his plan.
Removing the filibuster might actually give him a path to enact his plan but he doesn't want it. Strange.
He knows well he cant deliver a 100% public healthcare system with no private option.

Whats odd is that no one has focused on the biggest issue with removing the private options and essentially trying to dismantle private health insurers. The fact that at last count all of the insurers employ about 2m people. Their Pharmacies and health services companies have on their books about 500k.

If the Republicans and Sanders opponents simply focused on that it would make people seriously about his ideas.

Even John Oliver glossed over it last week on his show.

Forget about anything else. You will lose leftys and potential fence sitters if you try to dismantle companies and put people out of work.

Those companies make billions of dollars and just look at how difficult it was for Obama challenging them with Obama care.

Also Warren was slapping him around and the crowd went mad and booing her. Apparently Bloomberg has a load of people planted n the audience. Meant to be a small fortune for a ticket to get in. Couldn’t get a ticket less you sponser 2-3 grand.

I used to offer claquing services at Boston punk shows. For a reasonable fee I would attend your basement show and cheer you enthusiastically after every song, while telling people around me how great you were and that you were totally on the verge of taking it to the next level.

This was not a successful enterprise. I should've targeted the billionaire demographic instead of the penniless punk demographic. Alas.

No one was planted ffs. Every campaign had an even number of supporters there, plus a number of local “issue activists” and a bunch from the congressional black caucus.

Bloomberg was getting laughs and Warren was getting boos for attacking Bloomberg. I forgot Bloomberg supporters were just die-hards.

Given that tickets were thousands off dollars for a seat it's most likely his supporters simply were able to purchase them. Not exactly normal folk kind of prices those seats.

There is no proof he paid for any seat for anybody and only a small number of people seem to be talking about it in the press. Seems like speculation come article based on what was witnessed and then taken from tweets.

And that’s why they closed TT the bears :)
well, I voted. All done, now just sit back and watch the crap show

You are full of conspiracies aren't you. You seemingly bite on all of them.

Even if he did filled the seats who cares. I bet there is no rule against that anyway. Sanders at this stage is the front runner and if someone catches him it definitely wont be Bloomberg. The people dont really like him. I would say the party dont like him either. So I doubt there's anything there either if that's what you are getting at.
