Not playing up to that everyone’s out to get him way of thinking, just that it seemed a bit different to the others

Bloomberg got pelters because, rightly or wrongly, the others don’t believe he should be there

And to be fair, after about 20 minutes or so, the attacks on Sanders stopped aside from Pete who just decided to shout over him. Warren may try and disavow Sanders but she needs his voters and she’s running on a similar stump so she’s going after Bloomberg because she can’t be seen to be heavy handed on Bernie

It was a mess at the end of the day
that's a good synopsis.
Though I still think Bernie got off lightly (because Warren ducked out).
It was a mess because of CBS. The Biden asskissing was intense.

you're stating the blindingly obvious.
The DNC would prefer to have a Democrat lead the ticket.
As of yet, in 2020, they haven't overstepped.
This is similar to Trumps run in '16.

I might be making a spanner out of myself but I believe sanders is registered to be running as a democrat.

He's always a democrat but only occasionally a Democrat.

This past February (or March?) he filed as an independent to run a 2024 reelection campaign for the Senate, that year being the end of his current term. The month before that he'd filed as a Democrat to run for president this year. His affiliation with the party is nominal and only as-needed. You shouldn't be surprised that people who've been working in and for the Democratic Party over the longer term can be dismissive about his credentials as a party member when he chooses to take them up.

ah you're not :) it's a confusing system at best.
Sdk explains it above, he's independent for the Senate and Dem for the president. He's an independent using the Democratic system to catapult him to the presidency. He'd have no chance as an independent and he knows he'd split the vote.
Still, it doesn't help when you use the party system and then rail against the party.

Dont forget he gets no national platform as an independent. As in treated like the last bunch in 2016. Not invited to the show on the major networks for debates and town halls etc... no chance of getting to square up against the red or blue.

Oh yeah, the moderating was horrid – even worse than what we have over her for elections when we usually have two people against each other, nevermind seven

Did a lot of advertising in S Carolina and some polls have him 3rd in the state.
Out off all of the ads on TV his come across well. Not a fan off him personally, but I can see why he reaches some and why others might be convinced by seeing his material on TV. He has paid for as many as Bloomberg, if not more in California anyway.

weird, it's wall to wall Bloomberg in Mass. I don't get it, it's clear that Sanders and Warren will fight it out for MA. Maybe he's looking for a handfull of delegates for coming 3rd.
It's sick how much money he's spending on this.

Its mad not sure what they show up north where @LinekersLegs. Is but down here Sanders has one direct ad and another someone has paid for which he approves off. I have yet to see one for anyone else other than he, Steyer and bloomberg.

It's mainly local positions here. Including the hilaruous attack ads from Issa about Demaio and vice versa. Essentially ads trying to prove each other a bigger brown noser to Trump haha! Both off them are trying to take Hunters seat.

The debate last night was a mess but they did hit on some points.
They pointed out that none of the universal healthcare systems Sanders goes on about have banned private health insurance.
And Warren touched on how Sanders opposes getting rid of the filibuster.
He seems alright that he'd need 60 senate votes to pass his plan.
Removing the filibuster might actually give him a path to enact his plan but he doesn't want it. Strange.
He knows well he cant deliver a 100% public healthcare system with no private option.

I'd say it is 2 Bloomberg tv ads to 1 Steyer ad, not seen anything from the other candidates. Got a few mail shots from Bloomberg as well, again nothing from the others.
