Some of her supporters undoubtedly are cultists, but no more than with any other candidate. An indulgent example on my part of how easy it is to spin a narrative, if that's what you set out to do ; ) It's a shame so many of our friends aren't as discerning as you in the information they consume.

I do think though that if their positions were reversed, the Warren supporters (and probably Warren herself) would be demanding Sanders withdraw and back her - and they'd probably be right. She was on the verge of having to drop out anyways due to financial pressure (and the departure of several staffers doesn't help, albeit that was due to the racism of her campaign rather than its lack of funds). But her strong debate performance has bought her a bit more time, and a decent showing in Nevada will help too.

I do hope though that she'll do the responsible thing when the time comes. It would be beyond cynical of her to aim solely to be imposed from above at a brokered convention, and in those circumstances, she'd be even more certainly routed by Trump in the general. But given her track record, I'm not optimistic.
so you're Bernie or bust?

No. I'm not sure how you came up with that from what I wrote.

Like I said before, it depends on who defeats him, and how.

I would not, under any circumstances, vote for Bloomberg. That is my 'drawing a line in the sand and saying enough is enough'.

What if 2 candidates form a ticket and pool delegates to top sanders's count?

I'm not sure yet. Like I said, it depends on who, and how.

In any case, I'm not an American.
Just interested in your view.
You've slammed Pete, Biden and Bloomberg, kinda only leaves Warren and Amy. You don't seem keen on them either.
The nerdy part of me would love to see what happens in a brokered convention.

They are all pretty dreadful except Warren, who is a huge disappointment.

But it's the Democratic Party, a thoroughly corrupt and incompetent institution.

Trump wins. And the Democratic Party very possibly splits in two.

whether he crosses it or not, he's laid down a road map and shown it can be done. He's shown that there's an audience who's perceived disenfranchisement can be easily manipulated. The damage has been done, it's down to limitation now.

Christ, that's a grim post... Sorry!
Roll on the arsenal game!
I’ll see your grim post and raise you...

I’d be willing to bet that Trump’s hardcore base owns at least 75% of firearms in this country. Of course, since firearm registration isn’t required, there’s absolutely no way to ever know who has what. These people have fought tooth and nail for the right to own military style firearms, largely on the grounds that they are necessary to protect themselves in the event the government ever gets out of control. What a horrible irony it would be if the weapons they originally planned to use to safeguard against a tyrannical government instead end up being used to perpetuate one.

yup, I've met more than one person concerned about that.

Warren like most of the Democrat runners and politicians in general are a fraud.

Bernie

Sounds like the last four years.

I think the Dems will be in trouble come election time whoever they have going up against Trump. It looks like a party divided and everyone is in it for their own self interest.
That's called a Primary

We should take aware nearly all of it, and use it to do something useful instead.

Bloomberg's candidacy is perhaps the strongest possible argument for Sanders'

ie: "Your son died of an easily curable illness in order to preserve Michael Bloomberg's ability to tell you how he prefers his steak"
