CBS News has exclusively learned that the billboards are going up in Phoenix and Las Vegas, where Mr. Trump will be campaigning Friday. The billboards are appearing in high visibility areas near a Trump hotel property on the Vegas Strip, and also along potential motorcade routes where the president may see them as he drives by.
Should Mr. Trump look out the window of the presidential limousine, he could see billboards blaring, "Donald Trump cheats at golf," and "Donald Trump eats burnt steak."

It will make Trump jealous and angry because Bloomberg is a real billionaire and everything Trump wants to be, and he'll just disappear in a puff of smoke and we'll go back to 2008 again.

I suspect the Bloomberg team is probably smarter than that though.

As with his 'Trump is just not Presidential' tv spot, this isn't a pitch to defeat Trump but to win over extremely online wealthy overeducated white urban liberal professionals, who will otherwise vote for Buttigieg, Klobuchar, and especially Warren. He is trying to signal their virtues to them.

It's the equivalent of Trump serving Big Macs for dinner at the White House.

oh and “especially Warren” - her supporters when polled recently had either the lowest or second lowest opinion of Bloomberg, so he might have a bit of a job on. And that was BEFORE they got to see their candidate of choice fillet and fricassee him on live tv.

And anyhow, I'm not sure there are many here more overeducated than I am.

But only the poorly educated eat Big Macs for dinner.

It's like building a meme that works for Trump much in the way that beans and rice combine to make a complete protein. Tasty, nutritious and inexpensive.

Trump is supposed to see a billboard that makes him fly into an incoherent rage (how would we know?) and give us a Lonesome Rhodes moment on national TV.
I can see it now. Time to order more popcorn.
 


For a guy who says he values transparency, Sanders often falls short himself.

Bernie could have released the information as soon as he knew and I’d argue he should have. Russia interference in the election is a valid topic, hell Bernie suggested at the last debate that some of the online aggro could come from people posing as his supporters but choses to hide this information and then blame the press when it inevitably gets out!
