Of course it's outdated and even offensive , but no more so than Islamic beliefs and we try to accommodate them.....

Either we believe in a multicultural approach or we don't.......

Do you actually believe that? When you think about it'd you actually think they are equitable?

Nobody is suggesting going into any sort of agreement with any party that has religious backing apart from the Conservatives being supported by the DUP?

What do you actually believe multi culturalism is? Because it seems that your use of it here is a weird and misguided way to try and beat the 'left' with their own stick.

Part of me wants to say "well you deserve it as you voted these in" but the best of me will say. "Come on folks do the right thing and throw these basta%&s into the Thames"!!!

I'm glad someone has took him to task on this, I genuinely couldn't respond to that.

The sight and sound of Tory MPs cheering as they defeat the Labour amendment proposing fair pay for UK's heroic Nurses, Firefighters and Police Officers will live long in the memory !

My other half is a nurse so she'll be glad you think she's heroic. From the horses mouth though the pay doesn't worry her. She gets close on two months holiday a year so swings and roundabouts in terms of conditions.

What bothered her was the night shifts in ICU and the poor management in the community. From what I understand these are common complaints among her peers.

The NHS has many issues that more money isn't required to fix. Simplistic politicking of the service doesn't help.

They might be disputed but they dont go through catholic areas, and neither they should
Mate, you are wrong about that and a quick google search of the areas would confirm this. I may be mis-understanding your point maybe?

Unless the Tory/DUP pact has a parading agreement this isn't the place to discuss that though for fear of re-routing the thread.

Time will tell.

So the ToriesDUP couldn't find it in their heart to give those in the public sector a decent pay rise. That won't sit well in the country and has shown them up for what they are, the mean and nasty party.

This thing won't last long at this rate.

They'll give the captain of the bad team her marching orders and we'll have another election before Xmas.

Was interesting listing to James Rhys-Mogg last night, not my normal listening I hasten to add, but he seemed quite sure that as there is no 'outstanding' stalking horse within the Tory ranks, that despite the thin ice she's currently on she's quietly and steadily working to regain the trust and support of the Tories in Westminster.

Every bodies problem, as I see it, is that despite the remarkable turnaround in Corbyns' fortunes, he still falls short of appearing truly ready to lead and govern the country.

PMQs yesterday was just more of the same, him posing questions and trying to apply pressure, but he fails to strike any real body blows on May and she emerged largely unscathed.

May's junta !

DUP bribe could have bought NHS: 1000 MRI scanners 1500 CT scanners 35,000 junior doctors 65,000 nurses !! So much cancer not treated! *cheering*

They are spending it on NI infrastructure not new cars and holidays abroad. Your comment could be attributed to any £1Bn that we spend, defence, civil service, UK infrastructure, EU contributions, overseas aid etc etc etc..........
