This thing won't last long at this rate.

They'll give the captain of the bad team her marching orders and we'll have another election before Xmas.

I don't think so. Not one single Tory voted against the government. They know that if they get rid of her then they will need another election and they will not even attempt that until they have stolen all of Corbyns clothes and dismantled his economic policies. The last thing either the Remain or leave elements of the Conservative party want is to have Corbyn, McDonnell and co negotiating on the UK's behalf with the EU. They will remain united behind May until they think they can win another election........

I see that Hammond is currently schooling McDonnell in the commons regarding how to run a countries finances. The unpicking of Labours wild claims has started, eight weeks too late, but better late than never.......

Is almost certainly bang on the money... and exactly to what J R-M alluded to late last night.
Injured she may be, but she'll garner the parliamentary support and survive for as long as there is no outstanding leadership contender.

I've tweeted my local Tory MP several times today but unfortunately have not had a response as to why he voted the way that he did last night, strangely enough. So I've written him a email. Let's see if he has the courage to respond.

Out of genuine curiosity mate, is there any possible answer he could give that would satisfy you?

No, but then again I don't work in the public sector.
Didn't think so but was interested all the same. That's probably why he's not responding then, knows he can't win regardless of what he says. Typical politician, would rather say nothing and ignore those who challange him.

I'm just a severely peed off bloke at the moment. You'd think that a MP would have the common courtesy to respond to his constituent.

Of whatever persuasion, that should be almost mandatory in my book. Even if their office respond with a bland message that at least accepts they have received it.

We are their paymasters, not the other way round.

edit. Or the other way round, but you get the drift.

Oh you'll get no arguments from me regarding the arrogance and general of ignorance of MP's who nearly always think of themselves as beings far above the plebs they claim to represent. That isn't restricted to one party though, for every good and honest MP we have in this country there's about twenty who are either crooked or just couldn't care less.

The queens speech vote scraping through means this is going to be carnage if May stays now.

Can't front this out can she ?

She has a tiny working majority, IF all the DUP turn up to vote. Every single vote she wins will scrape though.

I guess she will front it out as long as she can still command, (sic), that position.
