Quite pathetic from McDonnell trying to whip up civil unrest. We don't need high numbers of radical marxists on the street cause it's a guaranteed riot situation.
I don't think there are even high numbers of radical Marxists in the country. The trouble with protests is they attract all sorts of clingons, the protest today was raw and passionate from I'd wager 85% attendees who have been personally affected by this.

The problem with mass protest in this country is you get the usual far left dopes, posh little public school kids thinking they're anarchists and so on all joining onto a legitimate march or cause and causing absolute murder, thus taking the press (gutter press) attention away from the cause and putting it onto some soft little get having a wee on the cenotaph or swinging from Big Ben.

I'm not talking about today's one. Certainly not gonna judge people on the ground in a situation as bad as this in Kensington.

But McDonnell shouting for mass mobilisation at union rallies is clearly a call for civil unrest. It's not helpful and he's the same person moaning about police being stretched. Hypocrite.

I was agreeing with you and I'm certainly no fan of MacDonnell. Stuff like this isn't new from him, it's what he's always done.

People should be protesting. Even those not directly involved - genuinely can't blame them. The more that comes out, the more this is as blatant a urinating on the poor by the rich as you could imagine. The wealthiest borough in the UK, saving £5k to put a fire risk in lower class accommodation whilst millionaire mansions are a few hundred yards away - it's outrageous.

And sorry, the Tories are thoroughly fair game on this, and it is fair to make it political. The politicians and council are treating the victims like vermin they need to be protected from, and they are totally responsible for the situation that led to this in the first place. Austerity, humanity and, above all, class, are all hot topics coming from this, and whether they like it or not, the class divide has been exacerbated and, let's face it, outright enjoyed by the Tories over many decades.

Don't apologise to me mate, I didn't vote for them. ;)

I'm not in the least bit political mate and I don't side with any particular political party, as I genuinely think that apart from a rare few, they're all as bad as each other, albeit in different ways.

But what has become plainly obvious over the past few weeks, is that May is like a rabbit caught in the headlights and is hopelessly out of her depth.

As a result the country now has the feeling of a rudderless ship and until someone has the balls to cut her loose, get a grip and provide some proper leadership, these nutters are just going to continue to use tragedies like the fire to further their own agenda.

Can't argue with any of that.

May is weak and shoud go. But the hard hipster lefties are looking to cause opportunistic aggro as usual.
