No I don't. Of course I take the piss, as others do. If I think people are posting stupid things, like earlier about Brexit, I challenge, and the butt-hurt surfaces quicker than Kopites seeing the RS go 0-1 down!

Do you not understand this two-dimensional medium? You can do HILARIOUS things with it! And people predictably react, as you have, ghost.

And one can also be a pedant on here, to the annoyance of others. Not 17 on this forum, it only goes up to 7. Check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apologies, ghost, I should not take the piss. Or should I... (I like the ellipsis as well)

Haha. Yes OB2, you're so provocative. Well done.

By sacking her advisors and thus throwing them under the bus (they've jumped before they were pushed, it's a sacking in all but name) all May is doing is buying herself a little more time. She won't see the year out as PM and I wouldn't be surprised to see her gone within as little as a few weeks. A truely disastrous PM and party leader that nobody at any level will be sorry to see go.

Oh oh! Tubey's rule of irony at work again (how many exclamation marks should I put here?).

I just wish people wouldn't get so serious and wound up over issues. When they do, they should head over to the 'Lord Buckethead' thread and have a good laugh and calm down.

Here, have a laugh on this, ghost, if you haven't seen it before. Post-ten o'clock on Thursday watching the Beeb reminded me of this instantly.

@orly

The Tory MP for Ribble Valley said these very words very early yesterday morning.
Bit of a coincidence - Spurty tweeting it without a link to the quote and our very own suspected Spurty multi doing the very same thing so close together?

The noose tightens...

The cabinet might try too prop her up but the Tory backbenchers will want to oust her very quickly

I'm still shaking my head that she hasn't done the 'decent' thing and effed off... my bet is that Men In Grey Suits have said something akin to, 'Do a deal with Hell and hang on while we sort your mess out - behind the curtains...'

Major, faced with doing a deal with the DUP, resigned and ran again...

And tupped Edwina Currie at the same time...

It was far from classy, but...
