I agree that she will probably not contest the next election, but if Corbyn is still in office then there will be another Conservative win. He did well, offered free gifts to everyone while the tories did sod all and still couldn't win, the tories will not make the same mistake twice....

why on earth not as their last two leaders have both made huge errors of judgement

This probably sums up the campaign......

Mr Evans told BBC Radio 5Live: 'I don't think you can underestimate the achievement of what we've just managed.

'Instead of talking about the things we thought we were going to be talking about – Brexit and the strong economy – we have ended up talking about social care, winter fuel payments, taking lunches off children and fox hunting.

'It was an amazing own goal. We didn't shoot ourselves in the foot, we shot ourselves in the head.'

Still gobsmacked listening to this speech, especially where she harps on about forming the government.

The whole thing is an utter mess. A needless mess at that.

Labour lost, but won really. Tories won but not enough, so lost. But are cobbling together an alliance with folk who seem a bit, er, "dated" in some views. So they won as well. Only if they have 10 seats, which is 30% less than "Others".

SNP won Scotland, but Tories did really really well, so won as well.

UKIP deffo lost, and didnt even win anything, except the quickest resignation speech award.

Hope thats clear.

No chance now if the Tories go with the DUP...

Just when you think things couldn't get any worse.
Let it go mate, no point losing a friend over poltics. I've fallen out with a few good mates over the years because of politics and after a few mouths of sulking we always patched it up, but it's just not worth the agro (I was never at fault of course!:coffee:).

Got a headache now!

I'm alarmed at the amount of intolerance for other peoples religious beliefs suddenly appearing in this thread.
