No way will this see 5 years. The more moderate tories (contradiction in terms perhaps) will hopefully reject most of the tat that the anti-women party will throw forward. Another election before the end of the year, allowing Labour to finish the job!

I agree that she will probably not contest the next election, but if Corbyn is still in office then there will be another Conservative win. He did well, offered free gifts to everyone while the tories did sod all and still couldn't win, the tories will not make the same mistake twice....

It all depends on what Cooper et al do now. If they rejoin the fold they could be in for a good next election. If they stay out, he could still win but you'd expect the next Tory leader would realize who the unpopular ones nationally are in Labour and go after them instead.

We've got the Christian ISIS propping up our government. I hope people understand that the troubles look very much back on.

Anti gay ✅
Anti abortion ✅
Anti women's rights ✅
Religious bigots ✅
Supporters of terrorism ✅

The best part of it is they dont even need to be radicalised because our government already did that during the troubles when they funded, encouraged and provided resources to them. Ontop of that they don't believe kids should play outside on a Sunday because of you know, God.

Cooper would be a disaster. There is still a dearth of real talent within Labour and the internal politicking won't go away just because they won an extra 29 seats against an incumbent government who produced a woeful election campaign. It ended up more about personality than anything else and May doesn't do personality. There are too many Labour people on the tv shouting that they won in order to justify Corbyn. The reality is that they still lost, did much better than expected but still lost........

ISIS?

State of this post. Criticise them deservedly all you want but don't talk utter crap. Imagine if someone called a nationalist party ISIS. There would be outrage, and rightly so.

As leader I agree. Swap her for Abbott though and it is a vast improvement. The problem the PLP has is that McDonnell and Thornberry (!) did well, and Gardiner was probably the revelation of the entire campaign, so there aren't that many top jobs left for them to be given.
