If you're a Corbyn supporter, you should be praying that May goes for a DUP arrangement, because if she does it a ) won't work and b ) will mean the Tories are absolutely slaughtered in the next GE within 6 - 12 months.

People will not stomach the Tories doing it given what it means in the context of Northern Ireland, and they're stupid "coalition of chaos" attack is dead in the water forever.
Absolutely nailed it Tubey.

The Tory/DUP alliance is the stuff of dreams for Corbyn and SF.

You don't know why I inferred that from a reference to a ridicoulusly religiously/politically corrupt organisation but on an acknowledged much smaller scale and a recognition that the other side of that equally have blood on their hands without the modern day religious bigotry and U.K. Government support? You do know we played a part in ISIS being created with our forigean policy don't you much like our hand in creating the Unionists when we sent them over from Scotland to run Ireland after Cromwell slapped down James and his Irish support?

I didn't ask to be born here mate. But yes, I'm deeply sorry for something a monarch decided to do 400 years before I was born. o_O

I don't even really like here and will probably move at some point. The colonial argument is absurd. You think that I should leave and pack up ''home'' because some of my ancestors came here 500 years ago? lol

I don't want to get into a history debate but that last bit of your post makes no sense.

1) Natural migration between Ulster and Scotland had taken place for hundreds of years. Actually can be traced to the BC period.
2) Official plantation began in 1609 with the plantation of Ulster after the flight of the earls. It had actually been planned by Queen Elizabeth since the 9 years war. This was 50 years before Cromwell.
3) Cromwell fought in the civil war against Charles I ( you know, the one who got his head on the block, not James).
4) Cromwell preceded James II. He didn't slap him down. He was already dead and long gone.

I heard Adams on radio this morning and he was making soothing noises about getting agreement to have the N.I. assembly back at work. He also ruled out taking Westminster seats. I think the RHI issue has cooled (deliberate pun!!) since it is under independent investigation, and Adams seems anxious to get N.I. institutions running again.

BTW - as I understand things, Foster is the leader of the DUP and is First Minister in N.I.

However, Jeffrey Donaldson is their leader in Westminster, so I am not sure how the chain of command works there.

It's Nigel Dodds. Donaldson is a member of the Privy council tho.

...not all of NI.

This will just ramp up divisions over there and when the terms of the Brexit are a disaster...and they will be...SF will see it as a boost for a United Ireland
Correct Dave. The DUP backed leave against the majority of the North who voted to remain. Their unholy alliance with the Tory's will do little to bring the majority on board.

Feeling more British was more important to the DUP than the actual consequences of a leave vote for Ireland.

Same as with the SNP, one is the leader of the party, one is the leader of the parliamentary group at Westminster......

"Only the Conservatives can provide that certainty by providing a majority in the House of Commons." - Theresa May.

... yes, and you had one before you called this totally unnecessary election, you self-serving dolt.

You really don't like her do you Tubey......

Of course I dont think you should pack up and go home. I don't believe in nationalism at all, you're exactly where you should be. My facts may be wrong but unionists ended up in Ireland because it suited our agenda. Same way ISIS came about partly.

National migration has been going on for thousands of years but i don't think ancient men went there and understood British/Irish political division mate. Either way I have no beef with you over your political ideology, you've already said you don't support much of them anyway. You should like it there, it's a beautiful country you live in with a wonderfully rich history and culture. It's a shame some people on both sides are bigots and you're probably about to be dragged back to the 70s
