Interesting.

I've always voted Labour, but I honestly don't have any faith in Corbyn. I'm certainly not voting Tory and the other parties are a wasted vote.
As I previously mentioned, this is exactly what the Conservative party will be banking on. Many may not switch towards the Conservative party.

Some will of course, but by abstaining or diluting labours vote to other parties then they'll most probably gain a strangle hold over Westminster.

The Labour party HQ and the hierarchy, who are mainly non-Corbyn, will go into meltdown especially as they'll expect a good old hiding.

And add to that the Conservatives have already done a lot of the groundwork behind the scenes with analysts already being appointed.

I've come to distrust all politicians of all parties. I'll vote Labour, but I dislike them all.

If you are a Labour supporter, the best vote you can make with this one is for the Tories.

I know that sounds off, but honestly, the heavier Labour lose this with the hopeless one in charge, the better the chance Labour can u-turn into a viable opposition for the next one.

Lib Dems can't do it as they're still toxic to many voters after Clegg. Modest gains off Labour at most.

Labour can't do it because... well... Corbyn.

So nobody can. May can't lose it. It's weird to have an election or vote that you know immediately the result of, beyond any doubt.

Labour's polling has been between 25 and 33% since he is in charge because of the internal opposition, because of the media's ceaseless attacks on him, because they had no clear policies and because in essence it doesn't matter.

This election announcement takes all of those away - the opposition has to stfu now, the media is legally obliged to provide some balance, Labour policies will be clear for all to see and people will have to choose between voting for her and five years of a Tory government that is willing to do this during the most important negotiations this country has faced in living memory, or voting for someone else.
