An hour ago the markets were saying 350-400 seats was by far and away the most likely tory result. I stuck £20 on 300-349 for the Tories because the odds were clearly long. I'll get £85.

The markets also said Trump was 5/1 to win the presidency, the day before the election.

Nice.
I'm going to lose about £4k if there is a hung parliament. Markets now inching back to the Tory maj now though.. 63% chance

Another load of voters Labour should've aimed for. Aimless floaters.

But we'll see

Yeah ive always thought that, target those who dont have a solid loyalty to one party or another, IMO a lot of UKIP voters are like that, vote on single issues, easily led

If Corbyn was a man of principle and stuck to his lifelong anti EU stance a lot of those UKIP votes might have gone his way.

We need a marginal, but that Sunderland one does not fit the exit poll.

No postal votes included in Exit poll interestingly. 17% of votes cast. And older people mainly.

Increased turnout (10% in Newcastle, 5% in Sunderland South) will be good news for Labour, but as you say the postal votes are going to complicate things (though even then, it all depends when they were cast).
