Let's not get carried away... the exit polls are only a rough idea.
Don't build hopes up too high, because if they do get a majority, even if only a slim one...

No mate, doesn't matter.

This reinvigorates the left (or anti-austerity, anti-Tory) and is basically guaranteed to cause May to resign. Anything less than 70 she was on dodgy ground (mentioned it in here earlier), less than 50 she doesn't make the speech tomorrow, hung parliament the 92 Group will erase her.

It's unbelievable that.

Clueless American...what's this all mean for you lot? Am I wrong in saying it would be like our two legislative bodies being controlled by two separate parties? Nothing gets done at all?
Depends if either can form a coalition with the smaller parties (probably not) to try and get a working majority.. if not, they could try a working minority....

I don't see what kind of coalition they could form - not one that could push through Brexit anyway.

The Tories need a miracle now. They can try a minority government but with something as big as Brexit and the sheer partisanship of current politics, they'd fold the moment they try something major in parliament.

The Tories need that exit poll to be +25 wrong, at least, and even then it's a terrible result.
