yup Channel four were the only ones chasing this and deserve some sort of recognition , who'd have thought investigative journalism still existed eh? There's that much of a crap storm brewing for the bluff merchant oldbag one would think she would call a snap election even though she's said she wouldn't !

if Mark Clarke is one of the 30 that ends up being charged, expect utter carnage

I stole the below from someone else. Those of you that can't bring yourselves to vote for Corby , do you think it is fair comment, or not?:

A: General Election, fantastic, i can't wait to get shut of this awful Tory government.
B: I know, I really hate this vindictive, punitive, self-serving, pernicious Tory regime too, but it's nailed on they'll win again.
A: Labour could win this if they get their traditional voters back, like you for instance.
B: Well I am a traditional Labour voter but I can't bring myself to vote for Corbyn.
A: Why?
B: Because the newspaper says he's unelectable
A: Why is he unelectable?
B: Because the guy on TV says he can't win.
A: And why can't he win?
B: Because a Social Media thread keeps saying no one will vote for him.
A: So it's not that you don't like him and you don't agree with his policies?
B: No, he seems like a nice chap and he seems to have some really good policies, I just can't vote for him.
A: .....erm....., remind me again why not?

Nope, as it completely misses the point, and is instead indicative of someone who just completely doesn't get why Corbyn is a disaster.

No not a fair comment, as it portrays those not on the Corby bandwagon, as a bit of a dumb tit, who did you steal it off Emily Thornberry or Baroness Shami type if stuff they come out with. and is an example why people like myself no longer feel they are speaking for me, just being condescending

Because to so many people in so many areas it is culturally unacceptable to vote Tory (just the way people have been brought up)... that type of blind loyalty to Labour is falling and it can be seen in the vote share labour have had since 1997.

Or, because the Tories don't and have never represented people in traditional Labour seats, and Labour have generally been the best of a bad bunch.

No, just from some random bloke on Facebook

It's nonsense like this which is dragging the Labour party ever further from its traditional vote by suggesting people who don't conform to a very narrow policial view are somehow blinkered/indoctrinated.

I'm going to break the prevailing view of these threads and say that I don't think it makes most difference to most peoples lives here whoever wins elections (most parties being various shades of the same things) and I am not going to demonise any of the parties or leaders as I can see positive things in all of them.

How about this for a reason Jon.

There's something to be said about the media portrayal of Corbyn though, surely?

I find it bizarre that the opposite of that amusing little Q&A is true.

Suggest to a Corbyn supporter that they're in a very narrowly defined echo chamber and they'll think you've lost the plot, despite it being very obviously the case that they are in said echo chamber.
