Well it seems that the 'Corbyn is unelectable' bull has been binned. At the start of this election you would have thought Labour were going to lose their deposits everywhere. Despite an unprecedented distorted and scurrilous attack on Corbyn by the vast majority of the media, Corbyn is looking more and more statesman like by the day, as people are able to listen to what he has to say. Rather than some hacks distorted reporting of what Corbyn stands for and what he is saying.

This coupled with May's shambolic campaign has resulted in nervousness in the Tories ranks. They will continue with the only thing they know vicious lies, slurs and innuendos. As the Tories get more and more nervy by the day they will become more and more irrational and will more openly be criticising May for being a rank amateur who doesn't make any sense half the time.

It says a lot that Corbyn's support seems to have increased significantly since he is able to put his message across without it being filtered out by biased media.

I know in work a lot like myself , don't really like some of the Labour front bench, voted brexit and said they were going to give this one a miss and hope a Labour party would come out different after the election, but the last few weeks , since the manifestos launches they are backing Labour again and voting that way, might get interesting if that is a . movement around the country the same way.
Labour need to keep Abbott , thornberry ect out the way as they are a liability.
Still think. Come the election it will be a big Tory win as I think Labour. Will keep its traditional vote but will not get the swinging voters on board.

I'm no lover of Abbott myself but I'm much more alarmed by the prospect of all those "feed the rich-shaft the poor" policies of the Tories than I am by any Labour personnel. And anyway, could she be any worse than Rudd, Greening, Boris, Hunt and Hammond?

Anyway, hopefully the likes of Yvette Cooper will make themselves available when Jezzer extends the olive branch.

There is the distinct possibility growing that the Tories might find themselves with no majority and having to form an alliance with Northern Irish Unionist parties. This will leave Theresa May with the choice of having to temper her "hard Brexit" stance and upsetting the backwoodsmen in her own party, or forcing the Northern Irish Unionist parties to be responsible for the imposition of a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic.

I can see that ending well.

And she talks about Labour and the SNP being a "coalition of chaos". The absolute brass neck!

I will be honest mate, I can take a few from all the main ones. I have made a bit of an effort to actually engage with the circus these last few days, and my summary is as follows.

Labour. I like Corbyn, as a bloke. I think the press he gets, whilst exciting for the core Tory vote, actually appals less active floaters like me. But the wish list manifesto reminded a bit of my youth. CBA about whose funeral he went to 35 years ago, but his hold over the PLP worries me. His experience of serious negotiating also concerns me. See below.

Tory. I have said many times, that this GE is all about Brexit. My initial reaction that they would be the best to deliver a half decent deal hasnt exactly been borne out by the flannel May has trotted out. Seriously needs to step up. The less Corbyn bashing the better, imo. Tell me what you will do.

Lib Dem. Again, Fallon(?) comes over well. I like the fact that he is a man of faith, (I am not), but is comfortable in his own skin to acknowledge his religious convictions is something for him, and not something he would put into an election campaign. But in reality, he will probably be irrelevant when the washing is done.

Soz, thats probably wasted a few minutes of your life.
You spelt the Lib Dem leader's name wrong it's Dim Farron!lol

Had Labour picked Andy Burnham they would be celebrating an easy walk in to no. 10.

JC has done well, better than we could have imagined but his motley crew of Abbott and McDonnell will be the reasons he won't win.
