Karen whatsherface getting shown up for the moron she is on Channel 4 news
It looks to me as though the Tories are basically re-hashing "Project Fear" from the Brexit and Scottish referendum campaigns. I've hardly heard anything from them regarding their own plans other than sound-bites and platitudes. On the BBC web-site it says that earlier today May was asked about the risk of recession if we end up with no deal from the Brexit negotiations. Her response was "I want the best possible deal for Britain and for Brexit to be a success." Honestly, how trite can you get? She then went on to say that Corbyn "wants to get the worst possible deal for Britain at the highest possible cost". I've not heard Corbyn say he is after the worst possible deal. What politician would ever say anything like that? No indication from her on what would constitute a bad deal. I doubt she's given it much thought, but thinks it's a good sound-bite. Not so much strong and stable as vapid and vacuous.
I'm finding the whole thing really depressing. If the Tories get in we'll have a sh*t government, if Labour do we'll get a sh*te one. What a choice. Sh*t or sh*te. Like having to say who you prefer between Ant and Dec.I think an awful lot of folk, folk like me, not tied to any party, and certainly not hating of any of them, are starting to get a bit fed up with that.

Which party values do you agree with the most?

Hahahahaha....Emily Thornberry strikes again, saying that we can't export food to Australia because it will go off.....
"Neil Parish, Conservative candidate for Tiverton and Honiton and former chairman of the Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs select committee, said: “Yet again, Emily Thornberry is completely out of touch with reality. Australia is already our 12th biggest export market for food and drink and demand is growing fast – because our great British food makes it Down Under in perfect condition.
“These comments would be funny but it is no laughing matter that Jeremy Corbyn and Emily Thornberry could be negotiating Brexit just 11 days after polling day.
“If they don’t think we can export food around the world, they would make an absolute meal of the Brexit negotiations – and we would all pay the price.”
Never mind Party values, who is going to bat for the UK in the Brexit negotiations........you can have all the party values you want afterwards......
Brexit included. Non-Brexit policy is incredibly important too.
