Get out there before then. Have conversations with people whose minds have been poisoned by the media.

Not sure that kind of language helps tbh as it a) suggests anyone that thinks differently to you has a warped mind somehow, and b) that they're so weak willed (unlike yourself presumably) that they have been brainwashed by the media.

It also sets up an easy prop in the sense that you can then tell yourself that the media are to blame if the population don't agree with your policies/political party of choice rather than anything to do with the policies/party themselves.

If a six year old can't take the responsibility to feed itself, then it doesn't deserve food.

Come again?

Good old torys are now asset stripping the people of theUnited Kingdom. Social Care to include value if your home

Ballbags.

Get your children to set up a limited company early on and then bill you for 'care provided' up until you get frail (every phone call, outing, visit in their adult life) A figure around the price of your home. Then the home is given as payment in kind or sold and money used to pay off the bill. You're basically doing what the Government propose but getting in first. Detail anything that can be offset against tax and you can even save a bit there. Those with real assets will be pulling similar stunts.

Hang on, I thought those wealthy folk were fair game for their income to be taxed at 50%? Now they're frail and elderly.

I'm confused. Are we supposed to care for rich people or not?

You have to admit the increasingly right-wing media has an incredibly strong influence on people.

The thing is, it's become a populist play to suggest the media are somehow the enemy in that it both creates a convenient scapegoat should they fail in their persuasions, and also creates entrenchment among the public. I mean you've had the absurdity in recent times of McConnell accusing the BBC of spreading Tory lies, whilst the Leavers also accusing it of unabashed 'remain' bias.

Media bias/fake news is the weapon of choice today it seems.

There are newspapers that push right wing views and are sensationalist in nature against labour but not against the Tories.

Take the daily poisen sorry daily mail. That is the worse right wing paper ever. The torygraph isn't much better. Look at the headlines about red corbyn and going back to the 70's and scrunitising everything. They don't do the same to the tories.

The guardian kinda is a left wing paper but that's about it. The BBC has got worse and even an ex high level executive says the same now. So it's not popularist to say it now.

Indeed. It's sensational for the Tories too, large majority and Corbyn stays as leader. Don't think they could ask for more.

That's right tories, dance. Dance for us. But mostly keep squirming so we can enjoy it.
