All parties have a core of support that can be counted on no matter how terrible they are, and Labour's seems to have firmed up at around 30-31%, but Tories lead is barely dented as UKIP support has collapsed.
The betting says that Labour is most likely to win about 170 seats.. I personally think they'll do a bit better, and could still return over 200 MPs.

McDonnell embarrassing himself today I see. Also known as "doing an Abbott".

We just await Thornberry to shoot herself in the foot properly and the Triforce of incompetence will be complete.

Incompetence in politics is hardly exclusive to labour. Theresa May was and is an embarrassment in that regard.

"I will reduce net migration to 100,000"

Never the same John McDonnell who caused the GLC to be abolished, if Labour do win on their left wing stance it will be the case of the nutcases taking over the Asylum!
No party can fix things 100%, but as good as some of their intentions are in left wing politics it will ruin the country -Oh i am not voting as both tories and Labour are not centre ground parties one leans to the right, and the other to far to the left - Mays majority will not be a landslide anyway!
all this for a slight increased Majority as it stands ATM!

If Labour have any sense they will have dropped this obscene 9% corporation tax rise. A greater than 50% rise. Some whopper here claiming she's spoken to lots of businesses and they are all pleased. Like what the actual?? I can assure her they are not...

Legislation is in place to have it at 17% by 2019 so in affect it's 9%.
Yes and watch either A- the companies will leave the UK -or B- they will just tax dodge the new Tax!

lowering corporation tax has fetched in an extra 9 billion into the treasury - as firms are attracted to the UK - putting it up revenues will fall how will Labour pay for the public services then?????????

Correct.

Companies will restructure to set up their main trading company in other lower take areas, most likely Ireland where it's 12.5%. It will destroy investment in NI too. Why set up in the UK when you can go down the road and under half as much tax. It's anti business, vindictive, illogical economics. And it's the one policy I feel that is completely tarnishing a lot of other good ones they've put forward.

You must be aware that there is far more to where a company bases itself than the rate of corporation tax which it pays.

Have to laugh at the Tories new rights for workers. I'm sure they'll be lining up outside our office asking for a year off to look after their sick relative. The money they've saved from the 3 other jobs working as directors for other companies should cover living expenses and still see them enjoy a comfortable lifestyle without having to visit foodbanks.

Of course, but for big business it's a fairly big factor.

All raising CT will do is smash small businesses who can't avoid it as easily, thereby tanking the economy at a time when Brexit is expected to put the hurt on things overall.

For what it's worth, I think 20% is fine - don't see any need to increase or decrease it myself.
