Christ QPR activated Samba's 10m release clause.

I really hope they get relegated.

what the actual ****? the man's in his mid 30's isnt he?

Moyes should try to get fer on loan with a view for perm then just buy a striker

umm, why would twente agree to that? they're trying to get champs league as well you know, maybe even the title

He's worked wonder Redknapp since coming in, to think they were bottom and 5 points off the drop when he came in, they're now only 4 points off the drop and still bottom!

Triffic manager him.

meh, they had a squad that shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom, just a useless mark hughes in charge before him

problem is that it looked like they were selling so they could fund other transfers - they might still need to do that before they sold him to us

That just means we're in a stronger position though.

If they're set on getting new players in they'll have to sort out selling him to us before they can finalise buying anybody. We just need Fer to sign on the dotted line.

Was talking about this in the pub before the game, stranger things have happened.

Twente have now got a player who is KNOWN to have a knee issue, and who was ready to leave. They've had to put off the two transfers they were ready to bring in, and they're stuck with a player whose heart may not be in it.

I think they'll struggle to sell him for more than we were offering tbh, after this saga.

Reckon his agent will be piling on the pressure to push a sale through tomorrow.

Stranger things have definitely happened on transfer deadline day.

Exactly mate. Fer hasnt turned in for training today so already he's showing his disapproval of the move being turned down. And from what Elstone was saying, Fer got shown around FF and was well impressed and very keen on joining. By all accounts he was desperate to join us and turned down other clubs!.

But cos Twente are playing "hardball", i think weve turned the tables on them by insisting the deal is off in hope they panic and come back to us and say are offer is acceptable?!.

But lets wait and see aye, dont know why but ive still got a feeling we may make this one happen, im still optamistic.

Joop Munsterman said something like "Thats us done in the window. That means no new players".
I think they really want to buy these replacements and get rid of Fer.
