Toulalans more like Gibson, we need someone who can sit and protect the back four when we need him to but can grab the game by the balls and drive on if the s*** hits the fan. Ofoe maybe but ive never seen him play.

Amoriebetas ace but a bit slow. Hes suited for La Liga.

Clubs made a huge mistake with doing this so publicly (obviously not deliberately), issue is now whoever they try and bring in will forever be thought of as Plan B (C if you count M'Vila) and fans will turn if he doesn't produce. A move for Ofoe or another ex-target would scream panic buy and the player will know he wasn't really wanted. Perhaps time to turn attentions to bringing in a forward permanently and bring in a CM in on loan? Giving Moyes a chance to get someone he really wants rather than someone he feels he now has to go and bring in to replace Fer

Why the rush to sign a CM, we have more cover at CM than we do RM, we need a pacy right midfielder for when Mirallas is injured, you can't keep playing Naismith there

We need an attacking player and a central midfielder. I'd be tempted to go in for two cheaper players rather than spending all the money on one.

No obviously people will hear things, but let them speculate. From what i understand we had a deal in principle agreed with Rennes for M'Vila as well, before Rubin Kazan came in with the bigger offer, but we didn't announce it on the OS did we? I understand that nobody saw these complications coming, but putting the transfer up on the club website without Moyes even speaking to the player is a bit premature in my opinion. I just dont agree with the website putting up transfer stories until there's that cheesy photo of the player signing the contract with Elstone. It just drives the fans into a frenzy (i.e the 156 page thread in 48 hours over a player we ended up not signing). Of course I'm not blaming the club but it puts us in a compromised position now when it comes to signing someone else surely?

There's no sense in officially announcing a deal until it is complete. It's lame.

It's also not really worth getting upset over if they do and the deal falls through. "Subject to medical and personal terms" was there for everyone to read and understand.

I'd happily see him go but only on loan to Championship/Top half of League 1 to get games and experience. Should have done this with Vic 3 or 4 years ago.
