Venezuelan newspaper Panorama reporting we have enquired about the possibility of signing Fernando Amorebieta.

That would be a start, still need a midfielder though.

......perhaps the Fer bit was a ruse to make us all think we had a few bob to spend. On second thoughts I shouldn't be so cynical. Just noticed our neighbours have completed their 2nd signing with no fuss - Coutino. Why is it always so difficult for us. Bring back Sir John Moores and the Catt, they closed deals before anybody had the slightest inkling.

Why would Toulalan come to Everton for less money when he plays for a top side and is in the Champions League?

Kenwright and his paper boys have mugged us right off.

David Moyes, Sign one of these please:

Maxime Gonalons
Etienne Capoue
Manuel Fernandes
Blaise Matuidi
Gary Medel
Jordy Clasie
Steven Defour
Ivan Rakitic
Antonio Candreva
Alain Traore
Siem de Jong
Luca Marrone
Victor Wanyama
Andre Ayew

Clubs made a huge mistake with doing this so publicly (obviously not deliberately), issue is now whoever they try and bring in will forever be thought of as Plan B (C if you count M'Vila) and fans will turn if he doesn't produce. A move for Ofoe or another ex-target would scream panic buy and the player will know he wasn't really wanted. Perhaps time to turn attentions to bringing in a forward permanently and bring in a CM in on loan? Giving Moyes a chance to get someone he really wants rather than someone he feels he now has to go and bring in to replace Fer
