Right now, that wouldnt be a bad shout!. Quite gutted about the Fer deal breaking down!. Good young player, exactly the type of midfielder we need IMO. People on here talk of Diame and this lad is better and will be alot better than Diame will ever turn out!.
I know we have to be carefull with signings with the lack of money we have but im sure the lad is too young to be considered a crock?!. At 23 im sure he's young enough and fit enough to get over this knee problem and be clear of any further problems for a very long time!. I did my ACL and my miniscus and i know there **** injuries to get but with the facilities he's got at his disposal and all the top physiotherapy and sports science he'll be liable to, im sure he'll fully recover (as he already as mind!) and kick on with his career!.
I just think we've tried to play a fast one on this deal when it comes to the medical to pay a cheaper down payment so we can go for someone else aswell and its back fired!. Honestly, whats are loss is definitely someone else's gain with regards to Fer!!.
Really dont get it, we say weve agreed a deal, have him over for talks, he says all the right things, Moyesy waxes lyrical about him and then in quick time the deals off?!. I dont know why but i just feel were playing tactics here, Twente was playing hard ball so weve cancelled the deal in hope they get desperate and come back to us to say they'll deal at what we negotiated?!.
Hope so like but could be far fetched, well, will be sorry!.

I like McCarthy but now i know we was so close to signing Fer, i'd of much rather had Fer all day long, he's alot better player from what ive seen, gets about the pitch more, more skill, good range of passing and as added goals to his game this past season and half, would of been a top signing for us!.
