It has become a grotesque circus. Wonder what the likes of Brian Clough would have made of Jim White's 'legendary antics'.

Oh come on its all good fun deadline day...take my Everton hat off and I love it. And tbf last winter deadline day was amazing 2/3 signings and beating city at goodison....

Pretty sure I'll be getting stocked up with munchie's, trying to avoid working that day and sitting glued to SSN all day long!!

I can't take my Everton hat off and thus, I hate it. Maybe if we actually did anything in transfer windows I might be more keen on them haha

........it can get depressing when our neighbours in mid-table can go out and spend £20m to boost their position whilst we can only look in bargain basement. I wouldn't complain if the boot was on the other foot, but it's hardly a level playing field. Wenger probably has a point when he says there shouldn't be a mid-season window.

That's the big difference between us and them unfortunately.

We've been better than them for a while, so they splash millions attempting to catch up.

Imagine giving Moyes £20m right now..

i don't mind deadline day tbh. They go a bit OTT and jim white's a nice enough guy - it's his job to make it seem more interesting to get more viewers to watch

you alright sheeds , moyes close to signing anyone mate ? greg o keefe says he is confident of moyes bringing in a couple .

My source isn't an insider as such but he doesn't think we've got the dough to be honest , his opinion is about £2m all in which will probably sort a loan . I hope he's wrong though and we're keeping it on the quiet .

He would probably buy another bily.

its interesting because i was speaking with tony scott who writes for the echo as well and he was saying the same as greg , that we are bringing in 2 players for which i gave a look of disbelief and his response was "honestly trust me on this one" so lets see what happens

Mate I'd be absolutely delighted , if we've got money for permanent deals I'm surprised that word isn't out there though. Fingers crossed
