There's a guy, 21 years old, playing for Molde, Magnus Wolf Eikrem, been fantastic there and being touted now for a big move to the Prem or Germany. Was released by United two years but could be another top player they've let go.

He was there outstanding player in every youth team he played in, but SAF thought it was an insult his biggest youth product for 10 years asked for 20k a week.

Like the above chap says, Fergy has a rule not to pay silly money to kids before they are proven, this will cost him the odd player. But works well for him really.
Fergie has a great saying, that their is no rush for the quick cash, if you put the work in, the money will find you.

From Fergusons POV every other young lads agent would be looking at that thinking if he's on that etc. could cost a club that size 5-10mill a season extra if they all went that way.
