Northern rail ‘strikes’ again. My trip to hearts on next Saturday is ruined because of this. £50 down on tickets for the game and train. Gutted.

Manchester is possible but it’s laying out more money . This is about the 4th weekend it’s affected my plans ( strikes) . I’m giving this a miss now until the strikes are over .

Hearts is back on . Via a coach to Manchester and a train from there .

Lovely ground and the area surrounding it is like Goodison but less dog sh1te. Nice scotch pie in the ground.

I went the preseason game there when Rom scored a trick having been one down. We were in the stand behind the goal - think they built a new stand to the left since then. Pubs close by were sound and enjoyed the trip. Love the updates on your quest mate, all the best.

The new main stand was brilliant mate . It’s the only ground I’ve been so far that I liked the feeling of the crowd . Very Everton like imo , I’ll be going back hopefully for a game v hibs or Celtic .

Other jock grounds I want to do soon are st. Mirren, Dundee , StJohnstone and Patrick.

Illl try and do them when they play hearts .
