‘’Doing the 92’

Well not strictly the 92 but doing different grounds . How many have you done? Lower league , Scottish , abroad ??

After going to Stockport yesterday it’s got me in the mood to get of my arse and go to grounds I haven’t done . I’ll do it when Everton aren’t playing .

First up is Southport on Tuesday then while the weather is decent I’ll be going to as many non league grounds around Merseyside as I can. Vauxhall , Runcorn , Prescot, burscough . THATS RIGHT WOOLS IM COMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU

When the season starts I’ve already got plans on Accrington, Fleetwood , Carlisle, Oldham ( v our u23’s in the cup) Southend or gillingham the weekend of arsenal away.

Any tips on places to drink , eat or other grounds ?

Going to try and do hearts and Patrick thistle , st mirren and Dundee too .

nah mate . Been crippled with depression and social anxiety for a few years so I don’t go out or mix much , even struggle at our away games but still go . Because of that I only leave the house to go the gym , hospital or walk the dog . Don’t go out drinking so I need to force myself to get out . This is s cheap way of doing it without having to be social . It’s got to be better than going to bed in the day because of boredom and depressive thoughts .

Stalybridge Celtic not too far from Oldham - similar place to Oldham tbh. Good bevvying to be found in Manc (obv) or up the Tame valley towards Saddleworth [arlarse real ale places].

The best pie I've eaten at footy match was at Oldham.
When we played them in the cup, plastic pitch they had too if i recall correctly.

Done quite a few,though the likes of Cardiff,Shrewbury,Millwall were at the old grounds,worked with a lad a few years ago who had done virtually every ground in England and Scotland,had about 5 left to do plus had done quite a few non league as well but it had taken him a fair few years due to fitting them in around Everton games

Good clubhouse at Bamber Bridge, good boozers in Glossop,Trafford, Clitheroe and Lancaster, Droylsden is a dump.
I get my info re. fixtures and individual club sites from here http://www.evostikleague.co.uk , then I see if I can get there on the train and directions to the ground.

Very helpful mate cheers. I was going to do bamber bridge on Wednesday for our under 23’s but it was too awkward getting back so I went to bury instead.

It was having to get back from London after 17.30 k.o's and my dislike of coach travel e.g to Bournemouth/Saints/Swansea that got me travelling around last season.
