When i saw the confirmation of a new contract on my FB feed, I immediately thought of this forum.

How come the other one was locked? It wouldn't seem a topic to get heated about for mods to lock it?

    Thomas Frank

Can you imagine how many of you would've murder Frank (online and in the stands) if he was manager of Everton? You would be merciless. Brentford scored 66 goals last season, to Tottenham's 64. Not sure about that.

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

13pts off relegation. Dare I say it was the most comfortable 17th place or 1 place off relegation in the history of football. It's not like you've had the same experience as us, who've survived relegation by a hair's breadth and got no long term benefit. Last season was a good as a league that...

    Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

With the glow of winning the EL, a rejuvenation of a new season, and new challenges and the benefit of the experience of going through last season, I'd have no doubt they'd go back up the table next season. Not just that, but bounce back with a chance of winning one or both of the League/FA Cup...

Arsenal need a striker. I don't see why a deal can't be done.

    El Crapico: Spurse vs ManUre

Not that we see every final. But I think the Chelsea/ManU FA Cup final about 20 years ago was the worst game. Nothing happened til Drogba poked the winner late in extra time. Tottenham were at least intentional in the first half, which was the attitude that got them the goal. But we can't...

    El Crapico: Spurse vs ManUre

Postecoglou has stuck his neck out and won a trophy. He can jam it to everyone who's had a crack at him. The imbecile Tottenham fan at the press conference now has to live with the indignity of calling him a clown prior to the biggest accomplishment by Tottenham in his life.

    El Crapico: Spurse vs ManUre

    I was hoping he'd score a goal.

Match Thread Everton 2-0 Southampton. Sun May 18th. 12 pm

I'm with the guys on the first few pages, thinking it's a bit suss Ipswich and Southampton have been scheduled late in the season for us. How torturous would it have been had we been part of a relegation battle :o If it were up to me, I would've let it be a Merseyside derby. I don't know how...

    Trent alexander Arnold

He had no idea Vini Jr. was following behind him for half the pitch in the CL final, so he didn't mark him when the crucial pass was made to Vini Jr. to score an easy goal to end up winning the CL final. Now he's going there.

A fb comment from a fan was that Everton lost 2-2. Sounded right.

Man U get a penalty for a similar foul that was reversed when they played us :(

Match Thread Chelsea vs Everton - Saturday 26th April 12:30

It's been a great resurgence under Moyes, but I'm a bit disappointed Wolves have now usurped us. What's that old saying ( I think from Fergie?), "Draws kill you..."

Match Thread Liverpool 1-0 Everton, Wed 2nd April 20:00

I wasn't able to see the game. When I saw the highlights and that moment Beto hit the post! Normally, when you're by yourself watching, you live the emotions, but no one would know if they were observing you. But that one, I let out a "Noooo!!!"

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

It's going to play out like in motorbike racing. The leading group going for the win are together before the eventual winner, who was always holding back, turns it on for the last couple of laps to pull away for an easy win.
