Today’s Football 25/26 Season

The referee should've spotted the handball in normal play and blow for a foul the fact he missed it then claims because it was accidental the goal stands is mental and only highlights how bad they are in the first place.

He literally stopped the ball from going past him and out of play with his arm. Where does it end. This fella Salisbury. Next season just catch it and accidentally throw it in the net.

This referee has been suspended a few times now.

He didn't give us blatant pens v West Ham or Arsenal (I think).

Was he suspended after those games? I don't think so.

Did little old Everton say it's not fair after the game and quickly move on? Yes we did.

We've had loads of chances to really kick off, grab the headlines and make sure everyone knows we're consistently on the wrong end of game/season making decisions. We know it doesn't change result, but they'll think twice about it next time.

Do we ever do it? No we don't.

Premier League match centre via X, on the decision to award Manchester United's second goal despite a handball in the build up from Mbuemo:

"#MUNNFO, external – 55’ After VAR review, the referee stuck with the original decision to award a goal to Manchester United. Referee announcement: “After review, the decision of goal stands because the handball offence is accidental, therefore the final decision is goal.”

The amount of professional wingers who don't know how to take a legal throw in amuse me. They wait for the full-back to take it off them 99% of the time but the 1% they don't they're like oh Christ how do I fling this sphere properly.

The only thing that will ever work is to do what Senegal did in the AFCON final, to refuse to allow a farce to continue without drawing attention to it.

The FA will hammer us for it, but the game is not going to be redeemed from its current corrupt state by inaction or even complaints via the official channels.

I don't think this is because they don't know how to do it, just a mere tactical thing as wingers are considered more "dangerous" and therefore must be on the pitch at all times. The odd chance they do get to attempt a throw in, it baffles them due to lack of practice.

Oh yeh, I'm not saying they hand off to full-back because they can't do it, it's just the norm, but they also literally just don't know how to do it.

Feels like Man Utd might get airlifted tot the title like Arsenal and Liverpool before them.

So fernandes will need an assist away to brighton on the final day of the season to break the assists record

Saw some comments from Carrick that he plans on playing some youth players against Brighton

Be interesting to see if fernandes breaks the record
