2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

What a steal this guy was. Just a superb technician.

Hard to think he came in Summer 2024 when Rome was burning.

You think back to that time or summer 2023 when Danjuma was hyped up as Ndiaye quality player and dread to think what the outcome would've been if development prospect like Dibling had been the big summer signing in those times.

Hopefully there is no CL clause in his deal but I think a good thing here is he had the dream move to Marseille that didn't work out so surely relishes being main man in upwardly mobile side. Same for KDH.

Come a long way since Doucoure stumbling over the ball as AM in attacking positions.

Ok, they're not specifically trying to overshadow our win - but that's the outcome.

We're Everton; we're not Burnley or Wolves and we're not here as a billboard for two apparently aggrieved Senegal footballers to use our matches to get a message across to their continent's federation.

I counted 3 occasions last night that those two made their protests against that decision. Maybe they should be just celebrating with our fans a hard fought victory against a good team.

Ndiaye celebrated in the corner with the fans after the goal.

He needs to let it go.

This is Everton Football Club not his platform to protest an African Conference decision.

I noticed also him and Gueye doing another mini protest after the 3rd goal.
Players with pregnant wives often stick the ball under their top; once the kid arrives they might even do a cheeky little baby-rocking celebration! In the case of Everton players, would that be a case of them using the mighty EFC’s platform to draw selfish attention to their virility?

They drew attention to what they deem to be corruption against their nation after a hard-earned tournament win *while celebrating goals that won us a game*. Had Gana been protesting in the D while a player ghosted past him to score, I’d be fuming right along with you, but as it is this is a crap effort by your usual standards.

Anyone who doesn't think NDiaye starts for every team in this league should look at how much Arsenal struggled to get forward against City today and compare it to how many problems NDiaye caused them earlier in the season when he was the best player on the pitch. He has absolutely elite talent on the ball. Something Arsenal lack IMHO. Particularly in the middle of the park.

Pee on the corner flag and check it after 60 seconds.
Not…

Where is the corruption?

The Senegal team left the pitch en masse and that triggers disqualification.

For crowd safety the game was allowed to carry on but an inquiry was announced immediately after the game to determine what should happen.

Too many people are citing corruption because the host country benefitted but the rules were broken. It's just because it was in Africa that the accusations are flying.

In any case, NONE of that has anything to do with Everton.
We win 3-0, you get your pants pulled down in the Moyes thread, and this is best thing you can manufacture to be outraged about 🤣

They can't do it as along as we're winning. No one cares (ok, one person cares).
