2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

Well, I have two thoughts on this.

Firstly, why would ANY player of genuine ambition stay around to be happily dissatisfied?

Secondly, Ndiaye has been found out the longer this season has gone on. Yeah, he has been overplayed, but his overall contribution - assists, goals - does not justify the hero treatment some are only too happy to provide.

Everton being the docile club they are will likely accept a significant fee for him and declare themselves happily dissatisfied with having to do so. Ndiaye will move to greener pastures and likely get found out. Meanwhile, we will hand his fee over to Moyes who will spaff it up against a wall and Tomas Soucek's leg.

Nil Happy Nisi Dissatisfaction
Whether or not you think he's an unbelievable irreplaceable player. I think its fair to say that he's certainly one of our better players and arguably our best forward and that losing him would be a concern. Not a good look for the direction the club is moving in if true.

IF he has turned down multiple offers, there's still no need to panic. He's still got three years left on it (or did Moyes hint at an option for one extra?). He's not done enough in the second half of this season for clubs to come in with big offers (£60m+), so it's just business as usual.

If he doesn't want to be here long term, then he should concentrate on playing to his potential and looking for that big money move next summer. If he does, we'll be happy with his performance and hopefully the transfer fee, and he'll be happy with the move.

There's aways talk of clubs like Brighton being well-run. Sell players for profit, good scouting for the replacements. If we want to be well-run in the long term, we need to be making a profit on players too rather than hangning on for too long while their performance and potential value drops.

After Kinnear's programme notes, I think we now know where the road the club is now travelling on goes.

Nowhere.

Starting to feel like a proper idiot for ever believing it would be anything different tbh.

All the change at the club felt significant with new owners, stadium, half the team leaving. Didn't trust Kinnear from the jump though and should have trusted my gut as now I'm so disappointed.

The opposition has got wise to him. He looks to go inside all the time, they just close off the space and his threat is nullified. Sad to say but he is becoming a one trick pony and needs to expand his skill set.
That’s what I’ve noticed. He doesn’t even when driving to the byline would be the better choice.
