Seamus Coleman Calls Time On Everton Playing Career

What a player for us. Players with his kind of attitude are unfortunately going to become more and more rare it seems. And will never forget some of the outrageous goals he scored at his peak. And more than that, what a great person/influence he clearly is off the pitch. Really hope he stays...

    2025/26 Tyrique George

the lack of effort (/brain?) to get back onside after KDH won the ball on the left hand side in their half epitomised it for me... Had me shouting at the TV.

    2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

didn't deserve to be on the losing side today. Skilful as always to get us out of tight spaces and moving forward + showed he was up for the fight with a bit of snarl. I just wish we could clone him for the other wing

    2025/26 Jarrad Branthwaite

really good today. Truly hope it's not as bad as it looks, he's had some really rough luck...

    2025/26 Dwight McNeil

Cannot agree with that. Based on their showings today, there is no chance George deserves to start over McNeil

    2025/26 Thierno Barry

was absolutely losing my head seeing the replay and him cantering around rather than busting a gut to get on the end of the cross

only other contender is Tyrique George, also today.

Match Thread Everton V Liverpool. Sun April 19. 2pm

I just cannot believe we have subs (Barry and George) coming on and not looking arsed when it's 1-1 in the closing mins of a derby

    2025/26 Tyrique George

really not good. Looked far too casual considering the importance of the game

    2025/26 Thierno Barry

awful, jogging around like he's having a kick about with his mates him vs Beto is not even a question from here on

    2025/26 Idrissa Gana Gueye

just looked and according to Wiki, he cost us 7.1 million the first time around, and then 2 million to get him back from PSG. Less than £10 million across two separate transfers for over 200 largely high quality appearances - crazy stuff! And long may it continue

    Ndiaye / Grealish

As decently as McNeil has filled in on the right recently, it was so noticeable vs Chelsea just how heavily we relied on attacking down the left. If Grealish isn't returning, I feel we really need to find a way of making the flank that Ndiaye isn't on more threatening, so that things don't get...

    2025/26 Dwight McNeil

just watch a vid of his goals for us in recent years - yes he looks like he's running in quicksand BUT I have to say he has scored some of the most aesthetically pleasing goals that I have seen from someone in an Everton shirt

    January Transfer Window 2026

don't love the Brennan Johnson shouts tbh. I think he's...ok, but winger is not a problem position for us, so if we do have money to spend, I'd so much rather see it spent in the areas of the pitch where it's really needed (striker, fullbacks)

    2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

love him, but should probably cut out the Neymar impressions in our defensive third

Match Thread Burnley 0-0 Everton. Sat December 27th. 3pm

as poor as we've been, Burnley are another level of bad. If we can just pull ourselves together a bit, they still feel there for the taking tbh......
