Moyes has been urging Tuchel to take a look at him, and there Is no way he drops Gana. He loves KDH, so that is him stuck out of position in 10. I think we’re unlikely to see any changes in midfield until the AFCON.

No way this guy is getting anywhere near an England squad.

The only issue with Garner is there's only one of him. Three of him might start for us right now.

He was ok, didn't get much forward but stuck at it and put in a solid 90 minutes

Thought he excelled today at RB. If Tim keeps playing like he did today, and if Rohl continues to emerge, Garner in the back might very well be the missing piece for now.

I do think we miss the control he brings us in the middle of the park when he's not there but I think he has to play right back for the foreseeable.

I also think him and Gana as a pair in midfield are there to be bullied, so the more physical teams will target that area.

I think it's unfair that Jake had to be dropped in the stead of Tarks and Keane, but Garner is without a doubt the best fullback at the club and it isn't even close which is sad because it isn't even his position. He has been an absolute baller this season. Has to be the right back. He is just a good player and very mobile.

I know some people don’t like him - but arguably in our top 3 performers this year with Ndiaye and Keano. Done a job at left back, right back and centre mid and the season has barely started. Players like him are invaluable for us right now imo.

…..made a bigger difference than I imagined. O’Brien has been fine but Garner is energetic, high-energy, plays with tempo and wants to be involved. Balance was better.
