Honestly mate, the only reason I want him to sign a deal is so that we can get a fee back for him

He doesnt go in for any 50/50s, he doesn't shield the defence, he doesn't make lung bursting runs to get ahead of play, his set pieces are abysmal.

He's a 6/10 player at best in midfield but has nothing which screams to me "he'd get in a top 8 team".

You can see why he looked very good a league below at Forest, but at this level he just doesn't have enough impact on the game off the ball or in possession. There's plenty of other reasons why this team isn't working but him and Gueye starting every game is definitely one that slips under the radar.

Especially when you compare him to someone like Xhaka who is in a completely different league even at his age. He's tries hard but we can't have two midfielders who offer nothing in possession and no composure on the ball.

Agreed. Tim and Rohl are both capable of running with the ball and progressing us up the pitch. Garner just offers nothing in possession.

Moyes has been urging Tuchel to take a look at him, and there Is no way he drops Gana. He loves KDH, so that is him stuck out of position in 10. I think we’re unlikely to see any changes in midfield until the AFCON.
